If I count on the service .. it was quick and prompt.. atmosphere.. one of the table’s guests were really loud.. not talking .. but screaming which made us change our table .. yet something which is out of control of the restaurant which we understand.. we preferred outdoor sitting .. they had installed gas heaters which kept the temperature of the area just right .. and to talk about the food .. everything was just ok .. I wouldn’t say delicious.. but good enough to satisfy the hunger .. sadly not the taste buds. Out of all atleast Pizza could surely have been better.. yet .. !! Shall try other things on the menu next time ..

Very good meal, had to wait a bit before getting the food. Would recommend the fungi pizza but not the Magherita. Also, the smoked chicken gnocchi was excellent. They serve tap water for free too.

It’s unusual to find somewhere that truly stands out for both food and service, but Plus 5 in Melbourne delivered an exceptional experience. Tonight I was served by Benjamin, whose care and approach were outstanding from start to finish. The menu offered some real highlights. The pear and rocket salad was fresh, crisp, and lovely. But the real star of the evening was the halloumi with figs, genuinely exceptional. I’ve recently dined at a five-star restaurant where the halloumi was superb, yet tonight’s dish was unique and easily equal, if not better. Congratulations to both Benjamin and the chef, this halloumi was magnificent. For dessert, I had the warm Portuguese tarts served with chocolate ice cream. The tarts were fresh and delightful, and while I personally would have preferred vanilla ice cream, the chocolate was still delicious. I rounded out the evening with a long macchiato, which felt like the perfect Melbourne touch. If you’re in Melbourne and down by the river, I’d strongly recommend a visit to Plus 5. The food is excellent, the service is first-class, and that halloumi with figs is out of this world. In this case, Plus 5 truly deserves five stars.

Fantastic food! I had lamb ribs and chicken wings which were so yummy! The staff were friendly and I felt so relaxed to sit there with the beautiful view along the river. Would come back again
