I hosted my ‘Miami Vice’ themed 30th birthday at Evies and it was incredible. They were so accommodating and did whatever they could to make sure the night was perfect. The staff went above and beyond, the service was seamless, and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - highly recommend for any special occasion!

My fiancé and I had our engagement party here and it was honestly fantastic. We hired the whole venue and comparatively to the price we were quoted for our 150 guest for other venues Evies was such a great price. The bar staff were all fantastic and all our guest raved about how good having the venue to ourselves was. Big shout to Wayne for helping organise everything, it was smooth sailing with him at the helm. We hired the in house DJ and Evie’s had microphones for speeches which was just another thing I didn’t have to think about. Appreciate being able to order a set dollar amount of food rather than having a per head amount we had to spend on food like most other venues. Made the experience easy to tailor to our budget. Big thank you to the whole team at Evie’s for such a magical night.

Everything was nice except for 1 particular member of staff that was extremely antagonistic to our group, accusing us of double parking when we weren't and then confronting our friend when they left a mid review about how they were uncomfortable accusing them of trying to get free drinks. I wouldn't have left this review, but that one staff member storming over to my friend and confronting him was so weird I had to intervene and stop the interaction so we could get back to enjoying our time at this venue. Very odd vibes from this one member of staff but everyone else was lovely.

Great venue for a function, plenty of room, a large dance floor, an outdoor courtyard, and it was easy to get too and right in the heart of Fitzroy. Some days have no venue hire fees. Party On.
