I went to circus last week to see a friend who was djing. It was crowded and loud, as to be expected. I wouldn't usually review a night club because generally speaking in this style venue, you get what you get. However, the service at circus was absolutely outstanding. The young bartender(I think Melanie?) went above and beyond to assist my friends and I each time we approached the bar. From making drinks, to assisting in retrieving a lost phone, pouring water when we needed it and helping us getting to a taxi on the way out. She was utterly fantastic. Cannot believe we received such incredible service at a night club. Won't be going anywhere else. Thanks Mel!!!

Circus bar provides an intimate experience with a darker than dark downstairs paralleled by a neon light rooftop bar. It’s a cozy space with a great lineup of local legends, no night is ever the same at Circus. You’ll find places to dance or sit back and have a drink both upstairs and down, dance floors get very packed! would definitely recommend coming on good behaviour as there’s obviously little tolerance for anti-social behaviour, only seasoned cookers will pass this entrance exam.

10/10 always have so much fun here. best venue & $10 drinks before 12!!!! security are strict on the door but makes for a safe environment inside when ur dancing til 9am

Went for a friends birthday recently and was surprised how unorganised this club was. Firstly, my male friend was aggressively dealt with from the bouncer who was being rude and sarcastic which resulted in him going home upset and offended. We had a birthday list set up which meant free entry but was made to pay when we entered, later being told some of our friends got in for free shortly after we had to pay. Went back up to the door girl who had no idea and advised we were just made to pay and others weren’t, she questioned me about where I saw the free entry and I pulled up their Instagram, she even had to call someone to confirm. She didn’t offer us a refund. While this was happening the birthday girl was told by bar staff she needed a wristband to get her cheaper drinks for the night (also advertised on their Instagram and website) she was then told they don’t have any wristbands. Terrible, unorganised and rude staff. Next time I’ll just go to Glam

Absurd experience; the place kinda reeks and I can hardly fit inside. I ended up spending three times as much as I had planned because of a false marketing for the drink offer (apparently you have to sign up and download an app?). 1/10 not recommend.
