This was our first time at Quay West, and we were very impressed. We booked a very nice 1 bedroom apartment with a view of the river to see the NYE fireworks, and it delivered in spades. The great thing was we watched the fireworks from the balcony and were able to then walk back in and go to bed. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were great. Breakfast in the restaurant was very tasty but the selection of food was average. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Guest service at this hotel is truly exceptional—they make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The staff is attentive, responsive, and always ready to assist. The location is excellent, and the hotel has everything you need for a comfortable long stay. Highly recommended!

We’ve been here twice now, with two kids, 9 and 6. We’ve had the two bedroom apartment both times, and it’s been great. The apartments are large. The pool, spa and gym are smallish, but have never been crowded. The location is just perfect (for us at least). Short walk to the north side, short morning jog to the Botanical Gardens, and just around the corner from the National Gallery. Although you’re in the current, it feels a bit secluded because of its location. Also easy to get on the freeway to the airport.

We had a fantastic stay at the Quay West. The room was enormous, with a balcony that overlooked the iconic Melbourne city skyline and river. The kitchen was well-equipped and we really felt at home. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast manager Reece welcomed us everyday, with great food (we tried both Breakfast and dinner) from chef Peter. Front office were very helpful and friendly, with Mitchell, Stephen and Christina making our stay perfect. The cleaning staff were top notch, and the rooms were left spotless everyday. We didn’t want to leave but the hotel was fully booked the following week (no surprise). 5 Stars for location and facilities.

We chose Quay West due to its proximity to Hamer Hall. Our stay was perfect and as such Quay West is now our preferred accommodation in Melbourne. The room was spacious and clean, the bar was handled by friendly, efficient staff and the food we dined on was excellent. The buffet breakfast was ample and again, staff were polite and helpful. We enjoyed a peaceful sleep as it was very quiet, yet Southgate is right on your doorstep. Parking is reasonably priced and easily accessed. Checkout was a breeze with friendly staff.
