Thank YOU Daisy for your impeccable service! She was extremely accurate in judging the portion size for our party of 4 where we clearly underordered. We are very satisfied with your service! We ended up ordering the crispy pork knuckle, the best wurst platter, schmankerl platter and some fries! The food was amazing and the beers refreshing! We’re definitely coming back for more!! If you're in the mood for German beer and cuisine, Munich Brauhaus in Melbourne is a top pick. The atmosphere is lively, and the experience feels genuinely "German" . On my latest visit, I indulged in the pork knuckle, crispy pork belly, and the wurst platter—each dish was quite good, and the portions decent. It's not my first time here, and it certainly won't be my last. Highly recommended for a taste of Germany in the heart of Melbourne.

Our host Jan made our night even better - so fun & friendly, knowledgeable and kept checking if we needed anything and were happy with our meal. My partner and I enjoyed the platter which was excellent quality and plentiful, although the condiments amounts were a little small. The pork knuckle had the BEST crackling! My sister & hubby enjoyed the schnitzel and chips with lovely fresh greens. Warm pretzel was almost too salty (and I love salt), but yummy. Beers were served nice and chilled in beautiful steins. The apple cocktail was delicious and cold Cola in large glass much appreciated. Although we sat in the courtyard area we enjoyed the atmosphere and music from inside. The river view is terrific. We will come back again.

Great venue, we’ve been coming back year on year from WA! Great beers, including Oktoberfest selection and excellent service, especially from Leonie who went out of her way to confirm we could still get the delicious Ultimate Party Pack, a sample of everything!

That is the third time I have been to the restaurant. Mew’s service is so nice and friendly. I don’t expect that she remembers me! The pork belly is so tender and juicy and you should definitely order one! The apple strudel is perfect, the walnuts, raisins, cinnamon apple and the vanilla ice cream makes a perfect combination. If you are planning and craving for some German food, you should bookmark this restaurant and pay a visit!
