What a fantastic pub! We loved the atmosphere, the service was excellent (lovely staff) and the food was exceptional!! I had the Steak Sandwich..... the black pudding sold me and I was not disappointed! And my husband had the Guinness Pie and he loved it! We dined on a Thursday night and were able to walk in without a booking which was great, the staff were super accommodating! Will definitely visit again when in Melbourne đ

This is the first time we have been for dinner and we werenât disappointed. Sat in the dining area we both had the Irish Chicken Curry which was just amazing. We had already spotted the âTo Finishâ section so ordered the Guinness Chocolate cake and Baked Baileys Cheesecake both were just delicious đ I would highly recommend having food here the staff are always really attentive. Also the bar area always has the best entertainment for a fantastic night and sometimes even an afternoon đ¶ đđŒ đ»

Had an enjoyable dinner at PJ O'Brien's. Absolutely lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. Dishes were delivered promptly and we never felt rushed even though our booking was set for 1.5 hours. Highly recommend the Irish Spice Bag (4 of us shared this generously portioned starter), the fish and chips and sticky date pudding to name a few.

Really love the spice bag!! It was my first time trying it so I donât have anything to compare it to but this one was delicious with a decent kick of spice and a nicely flavoured gravy. I also enjoyed the Celtic cheese board - highlights included the large capers, black pudding, Irish bread and a sharp Irish cheddar. And of course you canât go wrong with a Guiness to round it all out.

Only came for drinks and was very disappointed. If youâre Irish, donât have a Guinness, youâll hate it, stick to Heineken.. Bar staff didnât seem like they wanted to be here, little to no conversation when asked about drink options or any questions asked. Worst espresso martini Iâve ever drunk, didnât taste good and looked like mud water đ The only highlight was the live music, great singer. update: spoke to the man collecting glasses, said it didnât look right but wouldnât replace as he didnât know when it was made. Showed him the time stamp of my purchase and photo of drink.. very disappointed. Wonât be coming back.
