We were put up here by Singapore Airlines after the plane had technical issues and flight was delayed for 22 hours. Staff there were very nice, friendly and empathetic. Alex gave us a free extension for a late check out as Singapore Airlines only let us stay until 10am when the replacement flight was 415pm.

I can only amplify the comments by a number of reviewers. The staff at the 'Mantra' were outstanding. This hotel is very close to the airport and a very short ride away. Transfers to and from the pick up point were seamless. The rooms and breakfast could do with a little tweak but do not let this detract you from this great value I liked the peacefulness (It was F1 weekend and the city was heaving) and Airport West Mall is an easy 30+ minutes walk away if you need a shopping fix. Would certainly stay again if I was in melbourne for a short stay. Thanks again to all the staff

I had the pleasure of staying at the Mantra Airport Hotel recently. What a great place to stay! Good food and very comfortable accommodation. But best of all the staff were fabulous! From reception staff to restaurant staff to cleaning staff, all were extremely efficient, extremely friendly and extremely helpful. What a really lovely experience my stay was. Exceptionally disappointing service! I booked a hotel for family friends and gave my card. I explicitly stated the guests weren't to be charged for any of their stay and to instead bill my card. Staff clearly ignored all of that. The guests got charged $400 cash on arrival for a deposit (despite having my card on file for the room). Then instead of billing my card from the room they billed the guests. On top of it all the people were very rude. If you're looking for a spot, spend a little more and go to one of the other options

Stayed here for 1 night, room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet can use some more improvements. Apart from that it was a decent stay. Only 5 minutes away from Melbourne Airport.
