We had a lovely experience here today for my friends 40th. Joel provided exceptional service and the food in the banquet package was phenomenal. Beautiful views and beautiful people. We will be back.

Thank you for being open to listening about our complaints. I still can't believe that you unintentionally or intentionally skiped orders from some people (9 of us) and finaly delivered ll ordered drinks to our tabe after 40 minutes and 3 reminders. What I can't understand is that the order has been taken for food but couple of people have been easily skipped. I personally pointed they still there and they are not invisible. Finally on our satisfaction the staff has been changed and suddenly we have been all visible and acknowledged. Thank you so much to second lady staff who was much more polite,helpful and knowledgeable. Food was ok but nothing from all we have ordered wasn't special to say it was outstanding. Thank you for having us on Australia day, but we shall take time to come back here. Mostly because of the poor ser.

Great venue for a celebration, perfect location, good customer service when booking the table no need for deposit, easy ordering food and drinks don’t have to worry about splitting bills. Great vibe for dancing after dinner, good music a bit of everything. Will definitely be back.

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Captain Baxter in their private dining room upstairs. The event team were outstanding right from the very start. I initially spoke with Ella and Becky who were able to provide me with all the various options, dining menus and venue arrangements so I could make the right decision for my event. Later on, I had the pleasure of liaising with Elise who is truly a star. She left no question unanswered, would consistently check in with me ahead of the event to make sure everything was ready to go and provided a lot of calmness to the chaos of event organising! Joel was our host for the day, he was truly fantastic and extremely organised on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly, and all the dietary requirements were correct. Joel has such great energy, incredible customer service and took a lot of stress out of my hands. The food was delicious, and atmosphere was next to none. We moved onto the balcony room after the brunch for some drinks and had a beautiful sunset. I'm so grateful for the CB team for supporting me with this event and no doubt I'll look to host another event here in the future!
