As we embark on our journey as husband and wife, we have left behind our fairytale dream wedding. It was nothing short of sensational, luxurious and classy all in one. Wed like to thank Q events and their staff for exceeding our expectations, the staff were absolutely outstanding providing a high level service. All the staff had nothing but a smile, their persona towards the guests was welcoming. From the antipasto to the main course was 10/10. The cocktails were the talk of the night. If your after a luxurious wedding with nothing short of high standards, we recommend Q events.

To the Q events Team. Thank you so much for the Magical Evening. A huge thank you to Carleen, Marijana & Hope. Who worked meticulously throughout the months leading up to our wedding 24.02.24, as well as the staff who delivered raving service. Our guest spoke highly of the friendly faces, food and warm atmosphere. They worked amazingly well with our vendors and were lovely to our family and friends who joined us on the day. The venue it self was transformed and little touches were definitely noticed. Thank you for the memories and a show stopper of a night. R + H

Event space looks nice, however the service delivery was less than standard. Our school event function was extremely overpriced for the services received. The menu stated canapés and drinks on arrival. I saw no evidence of this at all, and I arrived at the event start time. At the table, there was a bowl of bread rolls, however no side plate in which to eat it. Staff randomly placed napkins on people’s lap. No consistency. No alternating entree, and it took a very long time to have our whole table served. Meals were cold on arrival to table. Guests had to purchase all alcoholic drinks at their own cost. There was a constant line at the bar, where service was again very slow. The bar had to be closed twice so the school evening could progress. Therefore people went without drinks. Eventually, when I did get to the bar, there was no drinks menu to read, nor was there one on the table, no pricing, staff did not know how much things cost without asking another staff member, going out the back, and returning. There was no champagne glasses to have with the Prosecco I purchased. Then later in the night, when some glasses were available, the barman handed me a really dirty glass from the cleaned rack. I had to request a replacement glass for the dirty one he had just handed me. Main meal service, again was less than adequate. Bowls of potatoes were placed on the table well before any meal arrived. Alternating meals were a satisfactory choice. I did notice on other tables, the vegetarian and food allergy people were served and completed their meals before the remainder of the table was served. Embarrassing! Meals were lukewarm warm to cold by the time they reached the table. And no desert on the menu. Now I feel that for $125 per head, this is not satisfactory value for money, for a school function. The DJ did a great job, and the presentation of the meals was also great. But far too many faults from the service really let the evening down. We were supposed to walk away from this event, ending a very important chapter in our daughters lives. Instead, I could only listen to everyone’s disappointment. I am not one to complain, however I feel in this instance it really was required. Feedback needs to be taken on board by the company, and fix their deficits in order to provide a great service, that people will rave about. A business needs to stand out for all the right reasons, not the wrong reasons.

We had our wedding at Q Events and couldn’t recommend them enough. They are brilliant to work with, helpful and always went out of their way to put a nervous bride at ease. Carleen and Amy ensured we had the most perfect night. They replied to multiple emails and made our dreams come true. The space is beautiful and the exceeded all of our expectations. All of our guests are still commenting on the quality of the food and the service from the beautiful staff on the night. Everywhere you looked, someone was there to help, pour a drink, or take a request. We feel so grateful to have had our wedding at Q! Awesome location for city photos too!!!

Thanks to the Metropolis Events team, VTIC hosted a Leaders Lunch with Intrepid Travel 27 November, a really successful luncheon in their beautiful venue, service staff were fabulous, the food delicious, the support in leading up to the event was excellent and shout out to Technical Events team who provided excellent AV support on the day
