I was actually intrigued by the lighting and the small private booths. It felt like it was more designed for couples with the vibe it sets. I personally liked the decor and just had a drink from the bar. The food menu did not seem to attract my attention and just seemed abnoxiously expensive. Even their drinks were on the higher end. They do have other events like comedy or live music, which might be of interest for others to check out. In fact, they had a comedy show going on the night i visited. They are located in the second floor of the Curtin house.

Good atmosphere but a nightmare on a busy night. Nowhere to quietly chat a connected. Dance floor is sardines and the stage has no way to be seen from the back if you're short like me! They should really have a cut off of the amount of ppl allowed inside and not excuse it as well not everyone needs to be in the dance area. I couldn't even dance :( it makes it a sweaty hell box. Summer is coming. Someone will get hurt :/

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at The Toff in Town, and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we booked, Beth, the incredible floor manager, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She didn’t just take care of the booking — she genuinely cared about making the night special for all of us. Beth’s attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made us feel like VIPs. She made sure our group of friends were comfortable, well looked after, and having a great time the entire evening. We’re so grateful for the experience and will absolutely be back. Absolutely disappointed with the service at this place which let our evening down completely. Went on a Tuesday night so we got tables immediately. We were a large group (and the only one till 10.30pm) , ordered pizza, chicken nuggets. Food was average and expected to be so. We ordered a whole lot of drinks including whisky, Jager and vodka cocktail. The drinks didn't really need much but the bartender behind the counter was rude. She was screaming at us if we asked for paper napkins and just scoffed at us every time we asked for more drinks. We were paying customers so this attitude was absolutely uncalled for. Never going here again.

Had a very rude staff member come up to us and berate us about the candle not being lit. She was so rude and scolded us like children. Blonde, short hair and about 5 foot 8. I've loved this venue for years, this was the first time I've experienced such treatment.
