This is something out of the ordinary now. They have table service, absolutely love that. The amazing friendly staff come to the table and take your order, bring you water on your arrival and continue to refill it and come back and ask if everything is good or if we need more drinks etc. Rory was our server. He was very bubbly, polite and friendly. We loved having a quick little chat with him. His service was amazing, very tentative to us and watching him work, he hussled all night. They had a live band playing which was great and because of Rory making the place a friendly place we moved to the bar after dinner and had a few more drinks listening to the music. Will definitely go back here on our next Melbourne visit. Thank you Tory for making us realise there are still fun people put there who love their job.

If you want an Irish pub that served food then this is the place for you. Most importantly is the food is really nice, the atmosphere is better and the staff are friendly. A nice pint of Guinness!, Cider or wherever wise takes you fancy. On the right day there is live music which is normally a good standard.

We visited this pub for the first time before heading to a performance nearby and it was an overall positive experience! The service was quick and very friendly. The dining room is small but separate enough from the area with the stage that we could still hear the live music without being overwhelmed by it. The food was quite good-- nicely presented and decently portioned.

What a fantastic pub! We loved the atmosphere, the service was excellent (lovely staff) and the food was exceptional!! I had the Steak Sandwich..... the black pudding sold me and I was not disappointed! And my husband had the Guinness Pie and he loved it! We dined on a Thursday night and were able to walk in without a booking which was great, the staff were super accommodating! Will definitely visit again when in Melbourne 👌
