Got to stay here for a night for work. I stayed on the first floor in room 115. It was with access to a microwave, mini fridge, TV, bath/shower combo and a decently sized room. I had a great nights sleep and found that the bed was much more comfortable compared to other places I've stayed in Melbourne. The place had a unique art style that is very Melbourne, at times I felt like I was in a sort of children's TV show. The drawbacks I found during the experience was the smell of burger that polluted the hallways during my traverse from elevator to my room made me wonder about ventilation. I'm not opposed to the smell of burger but some people find it revolting and that could ruin their experience. I later made my way down to try the food and have a drink. Ofcourse I had the burger. Look it wasn't the most amazing meal I'd ever eaten, but it wasn't the worst, It was just okay but if I were you, probably eat out somewhere else if you can be bothered exploring. Looking forward to coming back and staying here again. I would recommend this place to others looking for a room.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights during a recent visit to Melbourne and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are nice, the location is excellent, and the staff was friendly and responsive. I left a phone charger and AC adapter in the room when we checked out. Called a couple of hours later and asked if they could set them aside so that I could retrieve them a few days later. They were very cooperative and I recovered the items later that week. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely service, tidy and nice rooms, with jazz as well. Amazing view too also beside the royal children's Hospital which is not exactly a fun place but still convenient if you need to take children to see doctors there I checked in at night and never slept better. Amazing experience.

Liked the rooms, although our sole window had a view of a wall of the RCH. Location is okay - trams right outside - but a bit of a walk to trains (Flemington Bridge) and convenience stores. Whilst staff in restaurant, particularly girl serving almost on her own on New Year's Day were lovely, staff on reception were without exception cold and mechanical which, when you consider that a lot of guests are presumably parents going through the worst of times, really isn't acceptable. Nobody asked us how our stay was, wished us a happy new year or really added anything other than monosyllabic gloom. Since one would imagine they were being paid at least double time for working on a public holiday, a smile, some kindness and hospitality wouldn't have gone amiss.

Room with good cleanliness and great view. We booked this hotel as it’s very near the Royal children hospital as my daughter was admitted for hip infection. Any travelers facing children condition and need to go to the Royal children hospital can settle down in this hotel as it’s connected to the hospital. The only disadvantage is it’s quite a distance away from the city but not major issue. It’s a very nice and affordable hotel. Highly recommend.
