The hotel itself was beautiful.. We came for High Tea.. We found it a little underwhelming compared to other places. The savoury items were lacking something whether in flavour or seasoning. The sweet to savoury ratio was off.. Too much sweets.. Choice of tea’s was great! Glad we went but probably wouldn’t go again.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay with club access along with 3 other couples in March 2025. included breakfast, afternoon tea with open bar then evening canapes with open bar.. absolutely amazing value . Beautiful hotel & outstanding staff although the rooms starting to show there age. The valet parking is a real rort though at $80.00 per night, if staying I suggest you pre-book parking with Wilson who run the parking station under the hotel at $35.00 per night and self park.

We went to their weekend buffet. They did have a large assortment of food, however for the price, I do wish they had more seafood options. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The bathrooms were not as well maintained as they have been in the past.

Brett on the door with his top hat made our experience. So friendly and up for a chat! The location of this hotel is wonderful - so central and also a short walk to the botanic gardens as well. The breakfast buffet is much more detailed than other hotels. Definitely quality ingredients are used. Would definitely revisit this hotel - very unique!

Fantastic hotel! We stayed for a staycation in our home city this weekend and had a lovely experience. The hotel is classic looking and very lovely. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful and we really felt like we got a 5* service. The amenities are spot on and the whole experience was very seamless for us. The breakfast is a must! Best variety and quality I’ve ever had in a 5* The only constructive feedback I would have is that our luggage took way too long to be sent up to our room (over an hour) which wasn’t ideal when we had things to do after checking in. We will be coming back.
