The best wedding/events venue in Melbourne! We had the most amazing experience - I couldn't recommend more. The venue is absolutely stunning; the pictures say it all. Our wedding planner, Natasha, was incredible! We couldn't have planned this wedding without her. Natasha and the entire team were so accommodating, thoughtful and attentive. They went above and beyond at every point along the journey in helping us have the wedding of our dreams. From the moment we first viewed the venue, to the various stages of planning and the actual wedding itself - the team shared in our excitement and did everything they could to make the whole experience so special. Metropolis is the best!

Metropolis is one of the most beautiful and incredible wedding venues and we looked no further for our wedding. Natasha our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing, guided and supported us the whole way through! Angela was also phenomenal to work with! Wow, wow, wow! My wife and I (love being able to call her that now) recently had our wedding at Metropolis Events, and it was nothing short of spectacular. After carefully considering venues across Melbourne, we initially leaned toward the Royal Botanic Gardens. But in the end, we chose Metropolis Events for its sheer beauty—stunning views, soaring ceilings, and a venue that feels elegant and complete in its own right. It’s important to note that this was a shotgun wedding, planned just three weeks out from the date. Despite the tight timeline, the entire team at Metropolis Events delivered an experience that exceeded all expectations. While I’ll mention a few standout names—Natasha, Shaun, Lana, Lin, and Alex—it truly was a team effort. The operations team on the night ensured everything ran smoothly, making our wedding feel like a scene out of a fairytale. It genuinely felt like we were part of a movie. From a venue perspective, we honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere unmatched, and the organization impeccable. Even my father-in-law, who doesn’t speak much English, said it all: "Service was good, food was good, everything was good." High praise indeed! If you're considering Metropolis Events for any occasion—a wedding, a dinner party, a corporate event, or a celebration of any kind—know that you’re in the best hands. We recently had our wedding reception at Metropolis, and we can't thank Natasha Rowe, our event planner, and the entire team enough for their exceptional work. From start to finish, the service was flawless. The team ensured that my husband and all of our guests were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the night. Natasha's professionalism and clear communication made the planning process completely stress-free. She was always prompt with her responses and provided fantastic suggestions that helped the evening flow seamlessly. A special mention to Toff Rush from Technical Events at Metropolis—his communication was outstanding. He understood exactly what was important to us, and the sound and lighting were perfect, adding that extra touch to our special night. The food was incredible, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. A huge thank you to the wait staff, especially those attending to the bridal party table. They were so accommodating, professional, and attentive, always making sure we had enough drinks and everything we needed. We highly recommend Metropolis Events to any couple searching for a wedding venue!

Metropolis is undoubtedly one of the most stunning venues in Melbourne, and it’s hard not to have an unforgettable night here. Weddings these days can cost a fair bit, so be prepared to spend, but in return, you’ll have a celebration that not only you’ll cherish forever, but that will leave your guests talking about it for a long time. My experience with Metropolis started off a little rocky, as they were undergoing a restructure at the time. I was getting different information from various parts of the team, and due to a busy period, responses were a bit slower than expected. However, in the end, they came through and honoured everything they had promised. My only feedback would be around communication and clarity—there were a few instances where we were given conflicting information or told different things by different people. We were fortunate to have Natasha as our Event Coordinator. She was fantastic, handling all our requests and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Despite the stress that comes with coordinating such a big event, Natasha was easy to work with and a pleasure to deal with. We really appreciated her efforts in bringing everything together. But the real standout of the night was the team at Metropolis. They truly made the event seamless, and I can honestly say the night wouldn’t have been the same without their exceptional service. Honestly they pushed my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. Alex, the Beverage Manager, was an absolute legend. He’s one of the nicest guys you’ll meet, and he and his team provided first-class service all night long. They were respectful and attentive to every guest, and their professionalism made a big impression. Tess, the Bridal Attendant, was lovely and made sure that everything the bridal party needed was taken care of. There was a small hiccup on the day, but Tess went above and beyond to make sure it was sorted quickly. From the moment we arrived, she was there for us, providing exceptional service. Lyn , the Venue Manager, also did an outstanding job on the night. She kept everything running smoothly, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. Overall, Metropolis provided a truly memorable experience, and while there were a few communication bumps early on, the service and attention to detail on the day more than made up for it. Highly recommend! Update* I downgraded to 4 stars due to the communication. I was contacted about a clean up bill for a different date.
