Great food and atmosphere. Lots of seating areas, indoor and out. Mobile phone order and pay at your table, which is a pain when it isn't straightforward. Furthermore, it was weird to be asked for tips when you did all the hard work placing your own orders, giving your details away, and yet to experience the service from the waitperson and the establishment, and yet to taste the food. Credit card surcharge applies.

Today I duck into the Balmoral for a $20 lunch and it was the pie of the day which was Beef and my goodness it was so good. So tasty and with the mashed potato and gravy it was the perfect lunch on a rainy day.

I went to Balmoral for a meal and we both got the fish and chips. Delicious fresh snapper! Yummy salad accompanied it and some chips. Nice atmosphere, was pretty busy while we were there. Easy order at the bar and get a number system.

The Balmoral Hotel is undoubtedly my favourite pub on the East Vic Park/Vic Park Albany Highway strip. The food 🍛 is usually on point, drinks 🥃 are almost always served with a welcoming smile 😊, the front outdoor courtyard 🪴 is my fave place to hang and the phresh n funky soulful house n nu-disco muzik 💙🏠🎶✨️ soundtrack is my favourite thing about the entire pub. Overall it's a well deserved 4/5 Stars 🌟 vibe. The only downside being the quite extortionate prices for the drinks but then again, apart from Franklin's Tavern, it's the same deal right up and down the Albany Hwy strip whichever pub or bar you go to.

4 of us had lunch here on sunday, scored a dud big time, 4 meals ordered, all served with stone cold old chips, when plates arrived i didnt need to sample the chips to know they were old, the scotch fillet and steak sandwich were full of gristle that is in the 2 photos, the fish was soggy, manager did offer some money back for crap meals which we didnt take, we eat here regularly and normally food is decent, hopefully it was just a 1 off dud.
