Dined at The Queens for my friend's 40th. Shan looked after our table, we were 10 peopleand she has been so patient with all of our requests, very friendly and accommodating with all our needs. I've been restaurant manager on Melbourne and I can tell Shan knows what she is doing and definitely has high skills for customers service. Thank you so much again for the amazing experience! Went here for a function. Venue is great! So many different areas and cool decor. We were upstairs and liked to have our own bar and balcony area. Food was part of the arrangement so we didn't choose ourselves. There were pizzas, arrancini balls and poached chicken skewerrs - which i thought is an odd choice for roaming buffet and didn't try it myself. Sure enough we had a few people sick over night and into the next day. Pizza and arancini were OK. Overall good place, in a good location and fun crowd.

What has happen the Queens Hotel !!! Today for a friends birthday we booked a table, after arriving we were directed to a dirty table by Izobel(the not so friendly) restaurant manage and then left! The table beside us left and the pigeons swept in !! We then went a spoke to the manager - Jess - who then dismiss me with ‘we are doing the best we can Madam” this was after she made me wait while she poured a few drafts. My point to her was - if they cleared the tables immediately after the patrons left then the pigeons wouldn’t be such a problem. After my own 15 years in hospitality - I think I had a valid point. We moved inside to the fire - Will ( the grumpy barman) told my husband “get out of the way” as he restocked the fire - after we had asked him to as it as dwindled down to a few coal. Such a disappointing day !! We went to The Queens on Christmas Day and the service and food was first rate - this was why today’s experience was such a shock- I don’t think I saw one happy staff member!! Poor Form Queens!!!

I have been a loyal patron at The Queens for years, and I can confidently say that it never disappoints. The standout feature of this establishment is undoubtedly the exceptional service. Whether you're craving a classic pub dish or something more adventurous, the menu offers a wide variety of options to suit every palate! The staff, particularly Emily, are absolutely amazing. Their attentiveness and dedication to providing top-notch service make each visit feel special. Emily, in particular, always goes the extra mile to ensure that her customers are well taken care of. Overall, this pub is a gem that consistently delivers in terms of food quality, service excellence, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.

Great to find a local hotel that offers excellent food as well. A great and varied menu, tasty and well price for the size of the serves. Pics attached for "Toasted Ravioli" and the "Truffles Potatoes". Also joining "Pub+" for free before ordering and save $10 on your drink or food order.
