Reviews for Rendezvous Hotel Perth Central

Service is terrible! Upon checking in I requested to pay the bond with cash (which I do whenever I stay somewhere) and was told no cash isn't accepted. That was probably the last time I seen a team member till we checked out. Each time I passed through the reception there wasn't a team member in sight. The room itself seemed ran down and had a smell too it. There was a big open space which I'm assuming a couch was supposed to be there but wasn't. Bring an extension lead if you wish to charge an item by the bed. PowerPoint's are terrible. Rust/mould throughout the bathroom. Cardboard would be better use than the toilet paper they supply... there's so many corners cut in this place it's easy to see. Breakfast- very disappointing. Don't pay for it. Selection is terrible and the quality is even worse. I asked a team member if I could get a refund for 2nd mornings breakfast so I could go elsewhere and was ignored. Overall pretty poor experience.

Don't waste your money staying at this poor excuse for a hotel. Apart from the location the rest is appalling. Let me explain, I booked 2 rooms for a colleague and myself. I paid a little extra for a so-called deluxe room - what a joke. Room is barely furnished, and the lounge and chairs stained. Bathroom poorly laid out and dirty, I wouldn't call that the bed was made each day - pulled up at best. Remote control for the aged TV fell to pieces in my hand, a welcome message on the TV wasn't for me. Absolutely appalling WiFi, difficult to connect and need to re-connect each day. A little after midnight on the first night after a 5-hour flight from the east coast, we were awakened by a fire alarm, one of the firemen stated that there was nothing to worry about because it was a faulty fire alarm service - no apologies from management. My main concern is the way that they can fraudulently took money from my credit card, without my permission. Despite several attempts they are refusing to make a refund.... when I booked and when we checked in, both the booking site (Qantas) and the receptionist stated that breakfast was included. However they are now claiming that breakfast was included for only one room. Save your money and stay elsewhere, apart from location everything else is a major disappointment

Visiting Perth to see my elderly parents. Hotel is in an excellent position and quiet. Easy access/walk into the City and Kings Park. Staff were excellent, from reception to house keeping. Fully cooked breakfast was included in the deal. Studio room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel includes gym (included in tariff) and car park (additional cost). When next in Perth, will stay again.

Good location, but that's all. Check In experience, they did't even activate my card so had to then exit the lifts. Bad vibe from when you walk in to reception. Stains on walls, carpet. Room backed onto the freeway. Very noisy. Once again stains on carpet, walls, didn't even want to touch or get in the shower. The room temperature not controlled. Blew cold air all night had to sleep in all my clothes. The restaurant is another level. Food orders wrong. 1 and half hours to come out as only 1 chef doing all meals including room service. Food inedible. The bar, poor young guy went to pour our beers and the taps were empty on multiple kegs.. I was waiting for Basil from Fawlty Tours to come out. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Definitely will.come back. It's not the Hilton or Burj Al in Dubai. Yes it shows signs of age. But the property is clean and presenta. The staff were very courteous, the room was very clean and obviously the location is what you are playing for. Don't always believe the negative reviews. Theirs ALWAYS 2 sides to every situation.
