Good location but customer service can be improved. Breakfast selection is limited and not varied. Suffice creature comfort for a short stay. Murray Street has way too pubs and can be rowdy with many intoxicated patrons. Stay safe.

Just done a week at the Ibis and it was perfect for what we need. A room with a shower and bed. Free WiFi, not the quickest but it's free and allows you to stay connected. Location is perfect. Easy walk to the shops, Elizabeth quay and the train station. Great Belgian beer house across the road. Only downside was the beds, they were comfy but for some reason they are on wheels. Would have better if they weren't. Breakfast was good, mix of an English style and continental. Great coffee. Great juice.

A place to rest your head. Needed a cheap place at the West side of cbd. Staff were very helpful, even found a mini screwdriver to fix my glasses. The room was good, but not great. The hotel is showing its age. Good housekeeping, just shows wear and tear. Overall a good experience and recommend if your in the city for the night.

All is good with the hotel. Manager Eugene is friendly and the staff is supportive. Anita at the restaurant is caring and takes care of needs. I liked strawberry yoghurt with banana chips. Less vegetarian items but you can adjust yourself with available items. No live counter available. Some rooms are smaller in size but budget friendly hotel.

We would never go back here as we had so many issues when we stayed. - Despite phoning up the day before arriving and confirming we had late check out, when we got there they apparently knew nothing about it. - We ordered room service and after nearly an hour I called back to find out what was happening and they had lost the docket so we needed to reorder and wait again. The only saving grace was the man I spoke to was really apologetic and gave us a discount for the food. - instead of taking out just the bins charge when we arrived, they took out the entire booking. - there is nothing on their website about height restrictions with cars for the parking they recommend. Our car is 2.05m and wouldn’t fit into any of the car parks they subsidise. The closest carpark was a kilometre away. Only after talking to the manager they would cover part of our parking cost. - The room is definitely not worth the cost. It’s outdated, blinds don’t fit the windows properly, very noisey and could hear the people next door whenever they had a shower or flushed and the shower head needs replacing just to name a few. The only thing was the staff, all except one lady, the rest were super lovely. However as said earlier, would never go back.
