Along with our Bistro, we have two bars and a beer garden, perfect for toasting a drink while the sun goes down. We have a huge selection of ice cold beer on tap and well rounded lists of wine, cider and spirits available.

Referred to as The JC Room, the primary function room has a capacity for 200 guests. With a private courtyard and bar, The JC Room is dressed with neutral, soft tones to provide a blank canvas for creative styling.
For weddings and events of a smaller size, The River Room can accommodate up to 60 guests.
We recently hosted our wedding reception at The Macquarie Inn, and while the venue itself was charming and provided good value for money, there were several logistical challenges that impacted the overall experience. The staff on the evening of the event were exceptional — highly professional, attentive, and instrumental in ensuring the reception ran smoothly. Unfortunately, the service provided by the events coordinator, Taylor, was quite disappointing. Communication was a consistent issue, as multiple emails and phone calls went unanswered, causing undue stress during the planning process. Additionally, there was a lack of clear guidance on the room setup, specifically regarding table and seating arrangements, which led to last-minute changes in the week leading up to the reception. I had to make several in-person visits to the venue to address these concerns directly. While the venue itself met expectations, the coordination and communication leading up to the event were less than satisfactory.
Dinner was amazing! The service from all staff including Jas the assistant manager was outstanding. The room was spotless, modern, very comfortable beds and extra large soft fluffy towels. Will be staying here again 5stars!
Too many extremely high tables and stools, although beautiful hotel. Very unique. Bar staff not very friendly.
The staff could not be nicer. They're always more then accommodating. An absolute pleasure. They really do put the customers first and are true champs at hospitality
Large and comfortable rooms that have been recently modernised to an excellent standard. The room was spotlessly clean. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, including waiting for me to check in slightly late. It would be hard to fault and represents outstanding value. I would gladly stay here again and thoroughly recommend it.
