12-Micron is an exquisite venue that offers a unique and exclusive event experience for various occasions. On level two of one of Sydney’s tallest towers, right on the stunning Barangaroo waterfront, you’ll find four curated spaces built for hosting showstopping events. With audio-visual facilities, private balconies, a professional chef and bartenders - 12-Micron is the perfect space for weddings, school formals and business functions.
Designed by renowned design duo Kirsten Stanisich and Jonathan Richards, 12-Micron uses high-end materials and a considered colour palette to complement magnificent sea views. Every detail is on point, from the plum, green and blue colour palette that captures the feel of Sydney, to the premium materials like textured leather and cobblestone flooring. Full catering and bar service are available for events should you need them. Whatever the size of your event, there’s a space at 12-Micron that’ll suit it perfectly. That includes:
Watermans' room: space for up to 350 guests cocktail style and 200 banquet style, plus floor-to-ceiling windows opening to the harbour and a private balcony.
Private dining room: seats 32 guests for banquets, with a dedicated pre-function space for mingling or networking.
Shipwright room: space for up to 200 guests cocktail style and 70 banquet style, the Shipwright room has character ceilings, hardwood floors and harbour views.
Harbour room: a semi-private space with room for up to 70 diners.

12-Micron was one of the very first venues we inspected, and even after visiting several other popular options, it was the one we kept coming back to. We absolutely loved the Barangaroo location: it’s incredibly accessible for guests, has a beautiful modern aesthetic, and is surrounded by so many Insta-worthy photo spots that made our photoshoot even more special. The food was also a standout highlight of the night, something our guests are still talking about! We hosted both our ceremony and reception here with around 130 guests, and the space felt just right, comfortable, elegant, and perfectly suited to the flow of the day. A special mention to our wedding coordinator, Roxy, who took over partway through the planning process and was amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly receptive to our ideas, proactive in her communication, and made everything feel stress-free. On the day itself, she ensured everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. We would highly recommend 12-Micron to anyone looking for a wedding venue, it truly delivered an unforgettable experience for us and our guests.

We had our wedding at the beautiful 12-Micron and received so many compliments on both the space and the food. We only viewed 12-Micron as a potential venue and immediately knew it was the perfect fit! Food was incredibly important to us, and the team was very accommodating with our adjustments to the shared menu. There was more than enough food, and it was absolutely delicious! The entire journey with Ailish and Amedeo was exceptional and special. They put so much time and care into helping us with every detail, big and small, and truly went above and beyond to make the process feel easy and effortless. The service staff on the day were also outstanding. We couldn't be more grateful! Thank you to the entire 12-Micron team for giving us the most perfect day :)

I had my wedding here last week, and can honestly say this venue went beyond my expectations! Firstly, the wedding Coordinator made it a dream. They answered every question, were quick to respond & each detail was organised with an high level of detail. The venue itself is elegant, timeless and was in the perfect location for all our guests with transport all close by. The outdoor terrace and window panels overlooking the harbour was gorgeous with the sun setting made it so dreamy. Everything was set up to perfection and each guest was treated with the best service and for once everyone loved the food!! It was an unforgettable day all went without a hitch and would highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a truly lovely place in the city to get married. 10/10 on all fronts. Sharing some pics that can’t possibly capture how perfect this day was.

We had a wonderful experience at 12 Micron for our event. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the desserts were especially impressive,beautifully presented and full of flavour. It really added a special touch to the whole event. The venue itself is elegant and well-maintained. The bathrooms were very clean, which we really appreciated. There is also the option to seat guests outside the function room, which gives extra flexibility and a more relaxed atmosphere. The bar area looks stunning and adds a sophisticated feel to the space. Overall, it’s a fantastic venue for weddings or special events. Highly recommended!
