Up for a course in Sydney on work booked me in . Taylor at the front desk very helpful when booking me in. Explained how it work. Room was very nice and comfortable very modern. Could not hear any noises from room either side. Dinner in the restaurant amazing good choices. Steve was very helpful. Same place for breakfast in the morning huge variety. I booked over the phone with reception 2 weeks before our planned stay. myself and my wife have 3 children so we needed 2 rooms when I asked the staff member if they had interconnecting rooms she told me they did but when we arrived at the hotel at 7 pm we were told they don't have interconnecting rooms and the best they could offer us was to have the rooms side by side. When we told them that was not an option as regardless of how close the rooms were we are not leaving our kids in a room on their own we were told that myself and my wife need to separate from each other and sleep in separate rooms and that's the best they can offer us and they don't know what the conversation was between myself and the receptionist. What does interconnecting room mean?
if it there was an option of 0 stars. i’d select that. the moment we entered, we were greeted by Yash, the manager on duty who by the way, i’d fire immediately as he was talking about his job being on the line if he served us better and checked us in after our long on road journey. we rested in our car for 1-2 hours. (we are a member with the pacific but we weren’t given early check in privilege no idea why) even though we asked for check in by 11. we swallowed that pill, managed and paid extra. but i lost a bag with a lot of my personal items and food worth more than a hundred dollars after house keeping who considered it “trash”. no proper response from “Yash”. in fact he asked us if we had the receipt for the items for compensation. obviously, we weren’t carrying a receipt of our items because we purchased our snacks from various places at varying times lol. anyway, didn’t cater to our problem, asked us to wait in line if we wanted to discuss it even though the issue was on going from the morning. we were in a rush, we had wasted enough time since 10.30 talking to the housekeeping staff (the manager of housekeeping staff was miles better than the reception manager) so we didn’t have the time to argue over our money. it was the service that was valuable to us; which by the way was disgusting. this manager was a highlight of my visit from melbourne to sydney. he did give us his contact details but sorry, never again because he was inconsiderate of us as guests. please book another hotel, parramatta is a beautiful place to stay if you’re coming for a visit; park royal is the opposite. ps their pool is closed and maintenance is ongoing so the stay isn’t very pleasant holistically.
Spend two nights here and involved in organising Nepco Investment Seminar at this venue. What a great place! Service was commendable and breakfast was a great value with ample choices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. This is my go to place for stay when I need to spend few days in Sydney be it for work or leisure.
went to BISTRO 30 for a Father’s Day buffet lunch and it was amazing!! the staff were absolutely delightful and loved to have a chat and a laugh!! and the food was absolutely impeccable some of the best pork roast I’ve ever had!!
