My husband and I had a fantastic weekend away at this resort. There is SO much to do; you will not be bored staying here, either as a family or a couple. The villas were great. The bedroom, bathroom, and common rooms were huge. The upkeep of the verandas could be a tad better, and our spa bath wasn’t working, which wasn’t a big deal. This resort has a very peaceful atmosphere. The service is incredible; the staff were very friendly and attentive and made us feel very comfortable. A shout-out to the hospitality staff: the food and service were fantastic! The Vie Spa is also great. The spa feels very zen, and the staff are very friendly and professional. We had the buffet breakfast, which was included with our room (or I believe you can purchase it at an extra cost), it's also great. They had a decent variety of food, and the quality was great. This is definitely somewhere we will be returning to!
The 3 bedroom deluxe villa was excellent. Comfy beds and great views of the garden area. The 3 bathrooms are perfect for a family stay. The service, restaurant and amenities were also excellent. Full marks for the excellent breakfast - especially the omelette with the lot - and dinner at Barrett’s Restaurant. Further, the amenities including pools, sauna, golf driving range, tennis courts are fantastic. If you are staying with kids, there is no shortage of fun activities to keep the kids occupied during school holidays - including cake decorating. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. Overall, I would rate my experience at the Pullman Magenta Shores Resort 10 out of 10!
Recently stayed here over 2 nights in one of their family ‘ superior villas’ with family and small children, and what a disappointment. Whilst the resort grounds are lovely the villas have an awful lot to be desired, especially having only been ‘refurbished’ in the last 3 years - at least that’s what we were told… The walls were all black and scuffed like someone had gone around the house with their suitcase and purposely hit every wall and ceiling, or just rubbed dirt everywhere. The lounges were absolutely filthy, covered in stains and the cushions equally as disgusting, super gross to sit on! The coffee table and night stand furniture were peeling away and there was so much dust in the bedrooms and laundry. The dining chairs were so worn down that there wasn’t any seat cushion left, basically just sitting on the frame. It felt so unclean I was apprehensive to let my kids touch anything or sit on anything. The provisions provided of dish soap etc were abysmal, could barely wash a baby bottle with the amount of soap they gave. We paid extra to be in a recently refurbished villa and for the amount the resort charges for these villas, we were bitterly disappointed. Value for money you would expect the same or even better from a cabin in a caravan park and pay A LOT less. Apart from that, the staff were all lovely and food was nice at the restaurants.
We enjoyed our 3 bedroom villa, the beds were comfy and it was well enough equipped. The restaurant and bar was good, friendly service and nice food. All in all it was a most relaxing holiday away from It all only 90 minutes from Sydney.
We had a great stay. I had a happy time. thanks to the friendly staff who were very helpful to book tenniscourt and hire the rackets and also help us to checkout. ( maybe she was the the general manager Belinda) I also enjoyed Breakfast buffet , the swimming pool facilities were excellent.
