Rydges Cronulla Beachside is a four-star hotel overlooking one of Sydney’s best beaches. It also contains within its sizeable walls a number of high-quality function and conference venues. Is there much more one needs to know than that? Probably not. Rydges Cronulla Beachside has a dedicated conference level, containing five rooms accommodating up to 200 guests. The Sutherland Room and The Alley both sport floor-to-ceiling glass windows/walls, and are well suited to larger conferences and weddings. They also open up to a charming terrace, well suited to canapes or pre-dinner drinks.

We stay here quite a bit however the standard of the hotel is not great. Rooms are not cleaned properly. Can barley see out of the best window in the room & it's not just grime on the outside. Grime all over the Coffee table except the glass top. Windows in bathroom has dust built up in corners & mildew & grime all around the frame. On a good note the bed is tremendously comfortable along with pillows & lovely clean linen. The property isn't ageing well however this is definitely not reflected in the price!! This is not the luxury hotel anymore.

I recently spent 4 nights at the Rydges Cronulla Beachside hotel. I was a little disappointed in the standard of the hotel. I had to request coat hangers on arrival and couldnt get through to reception so had to go down and ask for some. The cleanliness of the room wasnt great and the daily service was terrible. There was a hair scrunchie on my side table when i arrived. The Bed as never made properly and on one occassion i had no towells and again had to request some. On a positive note the bed was super confy and the pilows were great. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade and the staff need training.

Location is great however the service was not. When we arrived at 3pm, the room was not ready and so we received a “complimentary upgrade” which did not give us the beds we requested. When we got to the room there were no towels in the room, so we had to call to have some dropped off. The soaps were also empty but thankfully we had brought our own. The following morning we ordered coffees to the room and waited 45 mins before I called to ask where they were, then 20 mins later they brought them up. On checkout, the staff member at the front desk was rude when I questioned why I was being charged $30 for the 2 coffees and then she realised that we had been charged twice. Overall I would not return next visit to Sydney, and would recommend trying another hotel.

We only had a 1 night stay, but the cleaning standard in the room was poor... the body wash in the shower was empty, the toilet lid was broken, the shower has mould, the bed sheet had a hole in it, the curtains are literally so dirty, and the carpet was very stained and dirty. Fantastic location, great views but just a poor room standard unfortunately.
