•Rydges Cronulla Beachside is a four-star hotel overlooking one of Sydney’s best beaches. It also contains within its sizeable walls a number of high-quality function and conference venues. Is there much more one needs to know than that? Probably not. Rydges Cronulla Beachside has a dedicated conference level, containing five rooms accommodating up to 200 guests. The Sutherland Room and Red Radish both sport floor-to-ceiling glass windows/walls, and are well suited to larger conferences and weddings. They also open up to a charming terrace, well suited to canapes or pre-dinner drinks.
Rydges Cronulla Beachside also boasts a number of smaller meeting rooms. That array of function venues comes with a delightful bonus - they’re located within a four-star hotel. Guests, out-of-town family members, and clients are able to stay in any of Rydge’s spacious accommodations, many of which boast panoramic views of the beautiful bay beneath. Rydges Cronulla Beachside is found at the end of Kingsway, where it meets Elouera Road (and the beach). The hotel is mere minutes from Cronulla train station and is located about forty minutes drive away from the Sydney CBD. It's the perfect venue for a relaxed yet professional setting, allowing attendees to seamlessly transition between work and leisure.

Heads up that I first shared my experience with concierge who didn't note any of my feedback. They just put the used wine glasses back in to where I got them from without cleaning.. I maybe should have taken more notice prior to using them.. but.. would "assume" they'd be clean. Only one coffee cup.. just as well I'm travelling solo 😌 A lot of the power outlets also aren't functional.
We just wanted to Thank the whole team for making our stay very enjoyable, we celebrated our wedding anniversary over the weekend and we not only got upgraded but there was a nice gesture from the team, a lovely card and cold drinks! thank you so much for making our day! The room view was amazing and we thoroughly enjoy our stay, couldn't ask for more. Thank you all.
RFID cards didn't work on car park gates. Car park poorly signposted. Staff had to be reminded of their $25 daily food and beverage credit on checkout, as was charged full price for buffet breakfast. Buffet breakfast three and a half stars. Teenage staff response to car park access issues equated to 'not my problem'. Room was clean, tidy and well appointed. Good views available. Stayed two nights, car park issues not resolved.
We are currently in Sydney. It’s a cold night. I asked at reception for a blanket and was advised housekeeping would bring one up to me. After an hour I had heard nothing so I called reception to be told that housekeeping had no blankets because the hotel was full ! I asked what I was expected to do and was told that unfortunately nothing could be done! The sofa bed is absolutely dreadful. It literally folds in half when someone lays on it. I had to request pillows as these were not on the bed. The shower is either boiling hot or freezing cold. There is no in between. Towels are tiny and thin. I’m yet to actually sleep here as this is our first night but needless to say, I’m going to have to sleep in my clothes as pyjamas are obviously not going to be sufficient. So far, this is a pretty dreadful experience.
On check in I was asked if I would like to upgrade to a better room with a sea view which I did for a discounted rate. Well… on first impression the room looked ok until I went into the bathroom. Nothing looked like it had been cleaned! The shower was unbelievably dirty! There were long black hairs hanging from the vanity! One of the basins had a long crack in it. The sea view.. a little hard to see as the balcony windows were so dirty as was the glass balustrade. There were holes in the curtains. They had put new cushions on the lounge but had left huge paper tags on them. Not a big deal but it’s just shabby. Just to say,.. reception did ask if we wanted housekeeping to clean the bathroom. But the dirt that was there especially in the shower was not a quick clean it had been there for a long time. We were in a hurry to get to a wedding so it wasn’t a good time for a clean that should have already been done.
