Overall stay was not bad. Front concierge staff was friendly and even offer us coffee to wait at the restaurant as we still have some time for the rooms to be ready. Just one little comment: I just felt bizarre that I had to pay $6 more for in room dining ( I understand that it’s late ( close to 10pm ) but I had no other options to pick up food on my own except to top up $6 on top on the meal cost ) not sure if this is the same for all hotels but do hope they can look into packaging up in the meal cost for dinner me menu to improve overall in room dining experience ( reduce the call time and having to inform guests about paying $6 more )

An absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. A warm, friendly welcome from Jemma on arrival with professional and engaging check-in. It was my first time to the hotel and I was made to feel so welcome, with details on restaurant and gym times and location shared. My room was fabulous and overlooked the beautiful Brisbane River and Story Bridge. I was surprised at the size of the room, that it had a large long lounge chair PLUS both bath and shower. The bed was super comfortable and I had such a great night's sleep - and the airconditioning kept me cool from the humid Brisbane weather. I met on duty manager, Alex, during my stay and he was professional and attentive. Perfect location to walk into the Queen St Mall, walk along the river or take buses/Uber/drive to any part of Brisbane.

I stayed for five nights and had breakfast at the hotel each morning. One of the staff immediately remembered that I always have green tea and would promptly bring a pot of tea virtually without me asking. The breakfast selection was sizeable and varied. The room had a partial river view and was comfortable. The vanity kit was placed in a small box under one area of the sink, and items were promptly replaced if you left an empty package near the kit.

If you tell them it's great they'll come, apparently! I found the staff warm, friendly and genuine, however the room was very very tired and worn. Furnishings heavily marked and I do expect more for $670p/n. Mould in shower recess. The room doesn't feel fresh. The bed was comfortable. The pool and spa enjoyable over 2 days however I did stand on squishy objects that startled me. The buffet breakfast was nice but not fantastic. The location suited my needs

Our recent stay was a mix of positive and negative. The staff was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive. However, we found the hotel's physical state to be quite outdated. The decor and furnishings feel like they are from another era, and the facilities are in need of a significant refresh. For the night rate the quality of the accommodation didn't meet the expectations. A modern update would make this a truly great place to stay.
