The Sebel B. Was clean, comfortable, quiet and well maintained. I only had one complaint, the waitstaff for the restaurant that served breakfast. The first day was great. The second day, we arrived and waited for at least 1/2 hour,no eye contact being ignored. Several people came in then left. My wife complained to the hotel desk. We were informed, unlike the day before, the staff needed the order up front (no signs to inform anyone of this). The next day, orders were taken where we were seated. It would be good to post what is expected instead of ignored.

Stayed for a work conference in the same venue, so can’t comment on cost / value. Very comfortable and spacious room, quiet with a comfortable bed. Updated bathroom a bit pokey with a shath and low ceilings. Surprisingly good conference venue albeit the conference room is awkwardly long & narrow. Great catering, coffee and IT/AV support. Nice pool for a few short laps. Great proximity to cafes, bars, restaurants. Would be happy to come back again.

My stay and room was great, however the payment process needs improving. I was billed 3 times due to errors and then billed again as they missed some of the account. Staff are not talking to each other, hence some of the muck up. All of this incurred extra chargers as it was converted into foreign currency. I am not impressed by this process. Cash is definitely a better option. Not happy with the extra chargers and really no apology for it.

Nice hotel, and I feel from them as loud construction should not be allowed near a hotel or residences at these hours, however the cross river rail works went into the early hours of the morning. I had about 3 hours sleep all night. It was unbearable as it wasn't the occasional bang, they were jack hammering and using cranes all night. If I had known, or been warned by the hotel, I would NOT have stayed here.

Older hotel but well kept and clean. Reception/service (check in, etc) was slow but friendly. Right in the city centre so good for business and tourists alike
