We hosted a Hen's Party over the weekend with Sasso. We ordered a set menu and added on a drinks package. The food, service, venue and value made the whole experience 100% worth it. Everyone enjoyed themselves and left the venue feeling so full. Montana, our event organiser and Juan, our bar manager were absolutely amazing! Montana made our whole planning process so easy, responding to all our requests and giving us great ideas to add to the Hen's Party. Juan helped us with our setup and kept the service flowing all night. I would definitely recommend Sasso to anyone who wants to host a memorable event.

Lovely venue with multiple dining areas. I felt that the rear dining room didn’t carry as much atmosphere as the front, but we enjoyed our experience nonetheless. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. Will be coming back to try other meals on the menu!

This was a great find. We wanted to dine close to where we were staying and this was a bonus ! We booked earlier in the day and the head waiter was friendly and very helpful. We dined inside which I was happy about as the restaurant is architecturally beautiful. We started with cocktails and the fresh calamari and they veganised the Gnocco Fritto for me. We both chose Pizza , would have taken photos but honestly one of the best I have had. The base light a fluffy and once again vegan ! Which mean no cheese for me , but quite used to this , so the vegetables and pesto were divine.

The pictures and reviews were great, but my experience was very disappointing. For the Polpette on Charred Bread, meatballs were tough, sauce was very salty and bread was soggy. For the Strozzapreti Amatriciana, a few pieces of the pasta were not cooked all the way and again, the sauce was very salty. For the Patate Pizza, the base was too thin, oily and soggy (see the picture), the crust was chewy and hard, and the topping was flavourless. Honestly, we couldn’t taste anything after all the salt from the first 2 dishes… We ordered 3 items and all of them were bad. We are so disappointed and definitely will not return.

We were a group of 11 people so we had the set menu. Food was delicious and there was a fantastic drinks menu. Staff were friendly, service was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
