Happy with the accommodation. A bit dated, but good value, clean and good linen. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Garden and surrounds were lovely and well maintained. Didn't use the pool, but did look well looked after, including the outdoor furniture. Understand that the units cannot include a lift, but due to our age and health problems, this was a concern. Didn't realize when we booked that this would be a problem, thus unfortunately will not return.

This is our second time taking a short break here, and we have loved it both times. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the room is spacious and very well equipped, and the buffet breakfast had a wide range of food and was delicious. We had an evening meal at the bar, and the only thing that could be improved was the shoestring fries that came with the meal - proper chips would be much better.

I wanted a quiet place outside the city/party areas. Mercure is a great resort to stay and just relax by the pool, use the gym and indulge in food services. The rooms are very well furnished and have a great living space. ALL the staff are of the highest standards and I will definitely be back again soon.

Great staff. The rooms are spacious. So quiet and peaceful. Loved the pool and the spa. Breakfast was delicious and changed up a bit each day. We had dinner at the restaurant one night also - which I can highly recommend. Wish I was still there relaxing on a day bed beside the pool!

Staff are professional and courteous and check in was seem-less. "Mercure" is away from the "glitter strip" of Gold Coast and public transport is a fair way away. This is an issue for aged or disabled. We needed a rental car (if the "Mercure" provided a shuttle-bus it would be a great service). If you love playing golf, the location is perfect. The rooms are of the age (over 20 yrs) but well appointed, and the staff do a great job of keeping it clean. We had an issue with a rattling air-con vent, and maintenance crew fixed immediately. The facilities such as pool area are well maintained and the families using it were having a great time. Buffet breakfast was available with the usual options. Menu options would be preferred.
