Mercure Gold Coast is a hidden oasis overlooking the beautiful golf course. Close to everything the Gold Coast has to offer, yet peaceful and relaxing. The onsite chef, Sean, is a true mastermind in the kitchen, creating meals that were an absolute highlight of our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, taking care of every little detail, right down to the thoughtful turn-down chocolate. The rooms are clean, spacious, and perfect for families, with a relaxed resort feel that’s child-friendly and comfortable. It’s also perfect for corporate stays, with great function rooms and facilities on site. I’d highly recommend staying here for a getaway that feels both indulgent and effortless.

I had the privilege of attending a Mercure, Dreamworld, BeChallenged, and Architects of Vibe showcase over the weekend — and to say I was blown away is an understatement. From the moment we arrived to having our luggage delivered to the car after our extended stay, the service and attention to detail made us feel like absolute VIPs. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, connect, and experience just some of the incredible things the region has to offer. The teams worked seamlessly together to create an experience that will be talked about for years to come. The hotel truly has something for everyone — from corporates and golf enthusiasts to families and those simply wanting to unwind — all just moments from the stunning Gold Coast beaches and entertainment precinct without being in the hustle and bustle. Spacious rooms, beautiful surroundings, multiple pools, light-filled meeting spaces, a tennis court, and golf course access all add to the appeal. The food and cocktails were another standout, with the Chef’s Table experience being a highlight for everyone who attended. Watching the chef and team work in front of us to create a delicious feast was truly special — and there wasn’t a dish I didn’t go back for seconds! The hotel’s sustainability focus is also to be commended. From harvesting 70% of herbs from the onsite garden to reusing orange peels and pineapple skins from the breakfast buffet to craft marmalade cookies and a house-brewed health tonic, we were genuinely impressed. A huge thank you to Briony and the incredible team for looking after us so well. From small to large events, you can relax knowing your guests will walk away with lasting memories and an experience that exceeds expectations.

Most of the staff were helpful. However, one morning we ordered breakfast from your a la carte menu and had to wait for one hour before food came out. And I wanted to order something from kids menu for my nephews, staff advised that menu is available only from 11 am. I’m from Hospitality also and I noticed that majority of your guests was families with kids. I recommend to have few options on your a la carte breakfast menu for kids too. Then housekeeping was not done properly on a couple of days during my stay. Such as changing bed linen with clean ones, my duvet was covered only from one side when I checked in, replacing amenities, refilling liquid soap and so on. Apart from these things, my overall stay was good and relaxing. Thanks to all the staff who tried to made it better! Special mention to Luka who was really helpful with the luggages…

Our stay at the Mercury Hotel was made truly special by the wonderful dining experience at their restaurant. It was a peaceful and beautiful setting, The food was absolutely spectacular, especially the breakfast! Simple dishes like spinach were transformed into something extraordinary. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by Rafael. His professionalism and attentiveness made our experience even more enjoyable since check in . Great service can elevate a stay, and Rafael truly exemplified this with his warm and helpful demeanor. If you’re looking for a place that not only offers fantastic food but also values outstanding service, the restaurant at Mercury Hotel is a must-visit, especially thanks to Rafael! Great facilities included kids hub !

Overall experience was pleasant, however the room wasn’t ready upon arrival and once in, I had to request the courtyard be cleaned thoroughly as it was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Reception staff were amazing as well as the food and beverage staff. The cleaners were random but pleasant. Unfortunately they don’t offer room service, you have to order then when ready go and collect it yourself, hard if you have a disability and travelling alone with just your assistance dog, as well as no lifts, only steep stairs to carpark with no assistance. Overall, I would recommend to all as it is a beautiful hotel and close to everything.
