Visited 7/4/26 - Easter holidays. Long review - but why DW got 4 instead 5 stars First off, the positives: the staff are amazing - shout out to Megan on gate 6 at the entry, Elijah on the shockwave, the lady on the tailspin at close and the superstar in the jungle rush store. The park was keep pretty clean for how busy it was. All rides were open and fun Annual passes is great value and gets you lots of in store discounts, all staff asked me if I had a pass, which was great There are more than rides too! Some cool animal exhibits and shows The neutral: it’s Easter, so long waits - but clearly marked. I do wonder if they could speed up the process but safety must come first. For example the Steel Taipan has two coasters but one sits for ages before loading ? But again, theme park , you wait The negatives: the food is average, I’m not sure how you can make a burger wrong but they do. Also, you get a discount with annual passes but you can’t use the self serve kiosk - you must line up. Free refills are slow and a hassle - please put refill stations around the park. The train doesn’t stop at jungle rush despite a platform appearing to be there. Lastly, I understand that if you are a bigger person, like one of our guests, you can’t do all rides for safety reasons - some rides have handy seats before you line so you can tell but not all. We found jungle rush was able to accommodate and while staff were gentle and polite, perhaps a list could be made available online of rides suitable for bigger guests. But I would recommend Dreamworld - it’ll give you a full day entertainment and the rides are pretty cool
We came to QLD for a short but enjoyable break from Melbourne and decided to visit Dreamworld as the only theme park to visit this time. We were so excited and had the most amazing experience there. Loads to do for young kids and bigger kids..! The family can really appreciate a fun day out! It’s difficult to conquer it all in one day but doable. We will be back for sure! Beautiful staff with such pleasant personalities and so happy to help you. 10/10 and 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we loved every moment of our time there!
Had an absolute blast at Dreamworld today! I visited WhiteWater World a few months back and only managed to sneak in a couple of rides, so today was 100% dedicated to marathoning the big hitters here. The rides are phenomenal. Steel Taipan is an incredible rush with its intense launches, and King Claw is an absolute monster of a ride—the sheer height and speed on it are insane. I also loved walking through the beautiful, well-maintained wildlife section. Getting to see the crocodiles, endangered bilbies, and the stunning tigers during the presentation was a major highlight, and it’s awesome that it supports the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation (DWF). I enjoyed every single bit of my adventure today. My only wish was that I could have captured the coaster POVs on my GoPro. I understand it's a safety rule, but seeing so many Instagram reels of the rides makes me wish we had a secure way to do it! Would also love to see some behind-the-scenes action added in the future. Definitely will be back!
Love this place! Went here with my family for mine & my Twins birthday! We were approached while waiting in line because we had birthday hats on & the lovely lady took our names & made us birthday badges & have us a 'skip the queue' pass! Lots to do, good food & drinks & great atmosphere.
The orange track is called the 'Taipan', it’s easily one of the best coasters in the Southern Hemisphere. The triple launch and the world-first spinning seat at the back make it an absolute "must-do" for anyone looking for a serious adrenaline hit Seeing the Dreamworld Tower 'Giant drop' still standing tall is iconic. Even with newer rides like Jungle Rush in the new Rivertown area, the old favorites still hold their own. The Koalas, Emus, Kangaroos, Tigers, Wedge-tailed Eagle named Goldie and all the other animals including the Reptiles show why the wildlife side is so special. Being able to go from a high-speed coaster to a quiet walk through the Corroboree section is a unique balance you don't get at other parks. The food game has definitely leveled up. Whether you hit Food Central for the gourmet burgers or managed to catch the Night Market vibe with the food trucks, the quality is much higher than the standard "theme park fried food" of the past. The Green Bean Coffee Co. on Main Street is also a solid win for a midday recharge. Definitely recommend 'Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant' It was sooooo good! The Yearly Pass is the only way to go. If you visit more than twice, it’s basically paid for itself. Having the pass usually gets you those sweet discounts on retail and food, plus entry to WhiteWater World and the SkyPoint Observation Deck, which makes it a total bargain for locals. SHOUT OUT TO THE DREAMWORLD TEAM#: It was definitely a bittersweet feeling when we could tell the team was under the pump, but they still managed to keep a smile on their face while making sure everyone had a good time. We loved our visit and can't wait to use our annual passes again soon!
