Together on the ground floor of the Main Tower is the Norfolk, Kauri, and Cypress meeting rooms. Together they form the Grand Ballroom with a total area of 485 square meters. All rooms are pillar-free with high ceilings. The Norfolk room has impressive chandelier lighting that can be adjusted to create the desired atmosphere. All rooms are served by a pre-function area that can be utilized for meal breaks and exhibitions as required.

We booked through a third-party platform and initially the room type wasn’t specified. I contacted the Reservation Team to confirm that we could have a king bed for our anniversary trip. Luh from the Reservation Team was incredibly helpful and not only confirmed a king bed for us, but also kindly upgraded us to a beautiful ocean-view room with a balcony. What truly touched us was that although I only casually mentioned it was our anniversary in my email, she remembered and arranged a thoughtful card and champagne in our room. The attention to detail and genuine care made our celebration so special. Thank you, Luh, for going above and beyond — we truly appreciate it.

We had such an amazing stay here and honestly couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy and welcoming. The pool area is absolutely beautiful – the perfect place to relax, unwind, and spend a full afternoon soaking up the atmosphere. Our room was fantastic – really clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a great stay. It genuinely felt like a little home away from home. I stayed here with my wife, and we both agreed it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. A special thank you to Anna at reception, who went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made a real difference to our stay. We’ll definitely be back – already looking forward to our next visit!

We were really excited about spending a relaxing weekend night at this hotel.. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by noise from the adjoining room. The connecting door between the rooms did not provide adequate soundproofing, and we were woken at approximately 6:30am by loud music and conversation from neighbouring guests. Ironically, we were in the hotel's designated quiet zone, which made the experience particularly disappointing. At a minimum, we would expect a hotel room—especially one located within a quiet zone—to provide sufficient sound insulation to ensure a restful stay. Instead of the relaxing and enjoyable morning we had anticipated, we were woken much earlier than planned. I want to emphasise that our concerns relate to the room itself rather than the staff, who were consistently helpful and professional. Hotel did not have the decency to refund us for this below average experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Queensland and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the entire hotel was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. A special thank you to Kunal and Anna at reception who truly went above and beyond during my stay. They were both so warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every interaction with them made me feel valued and welcomed, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Their positive attitude, kindness, and outstanding customer service made such a lasting impression on me. It’s rare to come across staff who make you feel so comfortable and looked after, but Kunal and Anna did exactly that. They are an absolute credit to the Crowne Plaza team and genuinely the reason I would choose to return here again in the future. Thank you again for such an amazing experience. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, comfort, and a memorable stay.

Absolutely amazing!!! We stayed here 1 night last year in may after spending the night before in a dodgy hotel. The cleaners do an amazing job keeping the rooms tidy, the staff are all lovely. I don’t get to go away on holidays very often but Crowne plaza ticked all the boxes & gave us an unforgettable experience 💜
