We have always loved peppers but this time it felt different. The once polished,clean and classy peppers soul now feels like 5%of that polish is gone. My check in was a nightmare. Staff tried to make up for it. But even at that my room floor wasn’t vacuumed. Ritz crackers everywhere on sofa and floor. Outdoor balcony has crumbs, pistachio shells and old spilled liquids everywhere. Even Hyde Paradiso services and breakfast was below average. That was a complete waste of money! I love this location and once loved this hotel due to its top notch service and clean rooms. It just felt dirty The bellhop service was still top notch. That is really appreciated If you’re after luxury, this will disappoint you. The views and location are always a 10 out of 10. The staff and cleanness of room was a 5 out of 10
Recently stayed for 6 nights earlier in the month. I’ve stayed here quite a few times over the last few years and even more over the last 10 years. But the most recent experience was probably the best! Check in was a breeze and done within minutes. Excellent service and such friendly staff. We had an amazing room with that beautiful view of course! Rooms are extremely spacious, clean and self equipped with most things you might need. Beds are very comfy and this is the only hotel I’ve ever stayed at that has a comfortable pillow selection. Foxtel allowed us to have the music channels on 24/7, which is perfect for me as I love those channels. The lifts… yes unfortunately sometimes you do have to wait a little longer and squeeze in. This is usually the case on the weekends and at a certain times like checkout/check in times so best to be prepared. House keeping can be a little inconsistent with timing but honestly that has never bothered me like it might for some people. The lovely cleaners get the job done and do it with a smile. Lastly, the location cannot be beaten. It honestly speaks for itself. You can’t get a better location for a hotel. I’m already planning my next trip in 2027 and I can’t wait to be back in my home away from home.
I left some crucial medicine I need behind on the side of the fridge door. I checked out an when realising immediately call reception the next day. The staff was told me she could not communicate with the person in that room as it's not their policy or responsiblity for any lost property. This medicine is crucial for myself and people do make mistakes and forget when they are travelling and moving in the morning. I am totally shocked and disgusted by your response. It's amazing how you have this tune on your call waiting saying this is the holiday of your dreams. This is the worst hotel service I've ever experienced. Be warned if you dare forget anything in this hotel. I am more upset about how little care and cold the reception staff was. Your hotel jingle on the phone mentions it's the holiday of your dreams. However your staff are absolutely cold. A simple 'I will do me best to check for you and I realise that the medicine is important to you would have reassured me' However anyone reading this review and your reply realises my point when it comes to service and hospitality. It reinforced my point and it undoes any good work your cleaning staff and other hotel staff have done in keeping your establishment in such great condition.
Simply stunning. This is not standard hotel accommodation; these are luxurious, apartment-style rooms with all the high-end comforts. The unit felt massive, featuring a full kitchen, large living room, and a laundry machine. The enormous, spa-like bathroom was the star, boasting two sinks, a separate shower, and an incredible whirlpool tub with a window into the bedroom for enjoying the view (or just relaxing). The balcony offered a jaw-dropping, quintessential Gold Coast view of the beach and ocean. The hotel’s amenities and service matched the quality of the room: we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools for a few laps, and the front desk was very helpful, securing us a later check-out. With restaurants, shops, and a supermarket right on the doorstep, the convenience is unbeatable.
Returned to Peppers Souls after a year and were again very well looked after. The 5 star hotel is centrally located with great views of the ocean on one side and the river on the other. Checkin experience was pleasant with great friendly staff. Special mention to two of their duty managers - Jess and Laura who went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Both Jess and Laura are an asset to the organisation. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and well presented. The only disappointment was that the outside pool and the spa was closed due to unplanned maintenance during our stay. The management were genuinely apologetic and did few little things to keep us happy. We will definitely return.
