Fancy five star feel at a good price. Timeless and classic decor. Great at weddings. Poolside canapes and live music were a hit with our wedding guests in 2004. The hotel hasn't really changed much since then. Rooms have a slightly fresh facelift. Nice clean bathrooms. Fresh crisp linen. Perhaps one thing that could be improved on is the staff friendliness and knowledge (a few mistakes made regarding parking and breakfast charges).

Fantastic place to stay. I have stayed at the View many times as it is a great hotel. The rooms, restaurant and facilities are great. Staff are always so helpful. The pool is great and the kids just loved it. The location is convenient to the airport and city which makes it easy to get around. I will stay here again on my next visit to Brisbane.

Have stayed here 4 times this year. Execellent location, especially if you're into jogging, walking and getting a feel for the city quickly. Located across the street from the river walk where you can take endless walks in either direction along the river. A 5 minute walk from Breakfast Creek Hotel, which has excellent food and atmosphere. Rooms are not spacious but very comfortable. Best to request a river view. You might hear some traffic noise but the a/c drowns it out. Great staff at the desk, bar and restaurant. Tiny workout room, excellent relaxing pool area where they actually have a nice lawn and shade.

Overnight stay before early flight from Brisbane. Arrived early, enjoyed a swim in pool prior to check in. Room was lovely, very comfortable bed and lovely river view. Enjoyed the coffee from restaurant cafe and excellent meal for dinner.Very refreshing end to a busy vacation.

The room had a brilliant view and a very comfy bed. Also the room and bathroom were spotless. I enjoyed the meals which I had in my room so I could enjoy the view. I appreciated the location, so close to the ferries or walkways along the river and found it easy to travel to wherever I wanted to go. Hopefully next time I come the spa heater will be fixed. Otherwise it was perfect.
