All round good. Great service...3 staff I dealt with were fab. Pool n gym good up on the rooftop. Four good cafe/restaurants 1 block walking distance. Parking (if you book and pay). Very nice accessible room. Loved the breakfast buffet. I will return. Highly recommend this hotel.
Friendly staff throughout our stay. Parking provided. Pool has heated water, nice place for a nightly soak. Sparkling clean poolside facilities & gym. Breakfast provided every morning & the food was surprisingly good. Variety was good enough & pretty much value for money which is what Holiday Inn Express is known for.
The hotel room is very clean and quiet, and both the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. My wife usually can't sleep when she stays at hotels, but this time she slept very well. The location is convenient, and the staff are polite. We will come again next time.
Poor customer service; sofa bed not made up on arrival then no pillows were provided. Pillows that were on King Suite bed were horrendous as was the mattress. Management advised re. Mattress and just looked perplexed with no explanation or inquiry made. Other travelling companions had to be moved rooms shortly after arrival due to room not having been cleaned properly as it still had bleach throughout the bathroom and you could not remain in the room due to the smell for and extended period. Breakfast buffet was ok, so giving one star but it wasn’t anything spectacular either but trying to be fair.
Stayed 2 nights in a room with Queen bed & pull out couch for my son and I. Room was very nice. Young man on front desk very nice & helpful. Had to request pillows for pull out bed twice from room service- didn't get them till the second night. Breakfast (7 - 10am) I was there at 9 - was very disappointing - they had run out of bacon, tomatoes, bread, bowls for cereal, knives & forks and the coffee machine was broken. The only hot food on offer was scrambled eggs & hash browns. Eventually bacon & knives came but had to eat it with a spoon & knife, had to eat muesli & yoghurt on a dinner plate (still no bowls) No sausages, no mushrooms, no options with eggs (it was scrambled or nothing), and no coffee? Reported my disappointment to Staff member at front desk "Nikki" - care factor - nil Have stayed at Holiday Inn both in Australia & overseas a number of times and enjoyed it - but not this time.
