Sicilian Restaurant - would we go as far as to call it a Parramatta icon? Maybe? Certainly, it’s one of the larger restaurants in the area, and is an incredibly popular destination for families, date nights, office Christmas parties, and sprawling birthdays. Despite a maximum capacity of 350 seated guests, Sicilian Restaurant manages to retain an atmosphere that’s intimate. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and understated in its casual sophistication. Which is basically a long-winded way of saying Sicilian Restaurant isn’t over the top in its approach. The same could be said of Sicilian’s menu; the approach to Sicily’s cuisine is a simple, “less is more” angle. Fresh ingredients and loving techniques speak for themselves. Given Sicilian Restaurant’s size, it’s popular with wedding receptions and corporate Christmas parties, as well as more intimate events (usually set within the “Sicily Room” private space).Sicillian Restaurant is located along bustling and cosmopolitan Church Street in Parramatta, just down the road from the Parramatta River. Sydney proper is about half an hour’s drive away.
