The best stay we ever had in Australia. Could not ask for more. Friendly and accommodating staffs . Breakfast has a lot of variety from hot to cold food . We always stay here whenever weare in Melbourne. The rooms are spotless. Great for family stay.

We had a seamless check in for our 14 night stay, and the room was spacious. The bed was particularly comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. I wasn't so fond of the shower over the bath, but that was a minor issue compared to all the positives. The location is brilliant. We could easily walk to Fed Square, all the shops, the MCG, Rod Laver arena, and the Yarra River. The staff were lovely, and everything was very clean. Highly recommend.

Staff were warm, professional and attentive throughout our stay, from check‑in to check‑out, and having 24‑hour reception and secure undercover parking gave us extra peace of mind travelling as a family. Overall, Mantra on Russell is an excellent choice for families visiting Melbourne and we’ll definitely be staying again. Highly recommended!

We just spent 6 days in one of their apartments. Everything you could think of was there for use. The staff were excellent and very helpful with all our inquiries. Maybe a new upgraded radio in each room and a wee welcome imfo folder in each unit about your facilties. Breakfast each morning was very good. Very good selection. Keep up the good work Mantra.

It’s disappointing to see staff insisting on card payments only and refusing to serve customers who are carrying cash — even for something as simple as a beer. While businesses may choose their preferred payment methods, the way this is communicated matters. Customers should never feel dismissed or treated rudely simply because they are paying with legal tender. Money is money. Cash remains a valid and legitimate form of payment, and it deserves the same respect as any other method. Professional service and basic courtesy should always come first.
