Good location in Melbourne for shopping and going to concerts. Big inside pool. Rooms were very clean, neat and tidy. Comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast could use a little improvement, but was ok.

First time back here in a while . Rooms nice and cool during hot weather. Comfortable bed. Close to plenty of dining options. A little noisy being the Chinese New Year period but fortunately this external noise did not persist by bed time. Bathroom and kitchen facilities serviceable and adequate. The breakfast was very good quality, above average. Polite service form front desk and in the dining room.

Great location close to trams, shopping centres, supermarkets and lots of eateries right outside the doorstep. Communication with the hotel prior to checking in was easy with no waiting time on the phone. Thank you to Angelo at the front desk for such an easy check in/out. He is friendly, professional and very efficient. We were lucky to be able to check in early due to room availability. They also provide luggage storage if required and everything is done with a smile :) Room was quiet even though it is on a busy street. Kitchenette is well equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, plates, cutlery etc… The lobby area has quite a few power points for charging devices, just remember to have the actual charger and not just the cable. We only stayed for one night but will be back next time we are in Melbourne.

Enjoyed a week there with the staff making it more memorable. Check is easy but I don't like that you cannot pay by cash and therefore have to pay the credit card surcharge. James was extremely welcoming and as always, a great ambassador for the hotel. The room was great on a high floor (18th) with a separate lounge and bedroom and a good sized fully equipped kitchen and once the balcony door is closed very quiet considering the location. Sleeping is easy with a comfortable bed, crisp white linen and blackout curtains making the room dark. Breakfast is buffet style with a good range of hot and cold foods and eggs made to order but the only change for the week was the sausages from beef to chicken, it would be nice to see a few other changes such as hash browns changed to baby potato sometimes but overall, a good way to start the day. Location is great with so many good cafes around, a few minutes’ walk to Chinatown and close to all public transport. A special thank you to James, Sas, Van, Anthony and all the reception staff, Gudar in the restaurant and of course the housekeeping staff. I had a fabulous staff and look forward to going back later in the year

A very positive experience staying in Mantra on Russel Hotel. I will be recommending Mantra to all our friends and relatives. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we received a complimentary bottle of wine and some sweet treats. Delightful!
