Had a fantastic experience at Village Cinemas Crown in Gold Class. The seats were incredibly comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel premium. The kids had an absolute blast, and the overall atmosphere was great for a family outing. The service was efficient, and everything ran smoothly. If you’re looking for a top-notch cinema experience with a bit of luxury, Gold Class at Crown is definitely worth it. Will be back for sure!
There’s nothing like a night out at the movies. In Gold class, you have amazing service as they bring your meals during the show. We watched Betterman (highly recommend!) and ate prawn rolls, and dessert with coffee. Had an excellent time.
It's a village cinemas cinema, so I can't say snacks are cheap. $6 for a bottle of water is messed up. But staff will go above and beyond if the reason and your attitude is right. I guess my only gripe was my seating. Anyone working will know who I am, thank you for not bugging me. Screen size is awesome and there is plenty of seats. The screen seemed curved, it's not a bad thing. I believe this is one thing some other village cinemas don't have. (I personally think for VMAX this would be awesome at other cinemas.. it removes negative focal points) Also the assistance of crown security to locate the cinemas was quite amazing.
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the lack of customer service and facilities I experienced during my recent visit to your cinema. Upon arriving, I was surprised to find that there was no seating available for patrons waiting for someone. When I inquired about this, I was curtly told to go downstairs because seating was available there. The staff member did not ask if I was a Gold Class customer or provide any other relevant information. I later realised that I could have waited in the Gold Class lounge, but this was not communicated to me at the time. When I attempted to ask another staff member a question, her response was particularly disheartening. Despite my polite approach and having excused myself, she looked up from her monitor with clear disdain, making me feel as though I had inconvenienced her. Her energy was negative and unwelcoming, which I find unacceptable for someone in a customer service role. This interaction left me feeling deeply uncomfortable, and I ultimately removed myself from the situation. Customer service is a key part of the experience, and interactions like these detract from the welcoming atmosphere that your brand is known for. I believe additional training in communication and professionalism is warranted for your team to ensure all guests feel valued and respected. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I hope to see improvements in your service standards moving forward.
I'm hoping someone in marketing reads this. I was going to a gold class session at 12.15pm, I arrived 11.55am. Firstly, why does the person who sits me in the lounge need to wear 2 ear pods? Clearly employees are not communicating via ear pieces and radios. It's unprofessional. After being seated it takes awhile for my food order to be taken. I overheard another couple ask an employee to take their order only to be told that orders are taken by first come basis. I then watch 2 couples orders taken before mine. They had arrived after me. At 12.14pm a couple got up and approached an employee asking to be seated. Employee tells them to sit and someone will get them and seat them, couple points out the time and employee reiterates her statement. At this stage another employee approaches and leads the couple to the theatre. 12.15pm I got up and asked an employee to be seated, she states it's the ads and someone will seat me. I said it's 12.15pm and she keeps telling me it's the ads and I'm not missing anything. So I go to seat myself. Here's where marketing needs to be concerned. The ads were for gold class products, after a few minutes the previews started at this stage people were still being seated. Employees need to understand that the ads and previews are there for a reason. Customers once seated are your captivated audience. They are either watching the screen, working out their seat capabilities or on their phone. Either way they are being exposed to your products. They are not being exposed to your products sitting in the lounge. The food was a disappointment, has increased in price and decreased in size. Fried chicken was like chicken tenders and both chicken and wedges were cold! When I arrived ear pod guy told me business was slow, well I'm not surprised as the service and food was below par. The movie however was great, screen resolution, sound and seats still good. I would still go to gold class for only the movie experience and bypass all ad ons. Hope there's improvement on my next visit.
