If you are looking for a place to stay near the airport this place is a very good choice. The hotel offers an airport shuttle every hour, you have a pool and even a hot tub and a small playground for traveling with children. Bar and restaurant are good too. Rooms are nothing spectacular, could probably use a renovation, but they have ac and beds are on the better side. All in all you get pretty good value for money here and we would come again!
Above all, we chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, not for a luxury experience. With that being said, besides the amazing staff, the hotel was mediocre at best. The bed was fine. The AC worked well enough. We had plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower. The room must have been inspired by someone who designs RVs or tiny houses because everything was hidden away by sliding panels and supposed to be multi-functional. The door(s) for the toilet and the shower was a shared sliding panel, so they couldn't be used at the same time. There was only one tiny trash can for the whole room, rather than having one for the main living area and one for the bathroom. It was great having dishes and silverware but there was no soap/sponge/drying rack to clean and store the dishes after we used them. It would have been great to have the light switches labeled - there were so many and they were not intuitive at all. Also, there were no bed side lamps, just the overhead lights. We paid for the breakfast buffet and it was fine, basically the same as a Holiday Inn or equivalent in the US. The coffee was actually pretty good, but there wasn't any water available, which seemed strange. Honestly, for the price and location, it was fine and that was all we needed before flying out the following day.
We just stayed last minute at the country comfort in Perth as we needed a cheap place to stay, however, in saying this we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the place. The room was spotless and very nice, bed was comfy, no issues with any compliances. The pool is huge and spa is very nice, they even let you take alcohol in there from the bar. The staff were very accommodating and had amazing customer service. All in all, was a very lovely stay. Would recommend and will be staying here again.
Unfortunately our enjoyment was hijacked by a group of Australians drinking beside the pool and became louder as the night progressed. They did disperse to their rooms by about midnight but the couple in the room beside us played music and kept drinking with the inevitable raised voices and bangs. Notified management. Cops attended. Haven't slept, early plane in the morning. At checkin was told it was a lovely room. Room clean and mattress comfy. Staff friendly. Kitchenette. Room has access to pool which in hindsight was not a good choice. Bathroom clean with personal cleaning products. Suggest decline any room poolside.
I've stayed at the country comfort a few times with no problems but just before Christmas 2024, my phone was stolen on the property. The staff weren't helpful at all, saying they couldn't check CCTV as they didn't know the password. It was only pressure from my son in law over the phone that made them do something.
