Depsite of the old design and furniture the room is spacious enough. Comfy bed with pillows that are not too soft to my liking. Stable complementary wifi. Air conditioning is well functioning and responsive. Water flow from both tab and shower is strong. Room is equipped with a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, a kettle and bottled waters which would be refilled daily. I did not hear noises from my neighbors but definitely heard housekeeping from other rooms and some drilling sounds here and there in the morning, which was kind of disturbing with notice given out previously.
Stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Perth and had a wonderful experience! The hotel is excellent, with modern amenities and a comfortable ambiance. The service is truly perfect – the staff were attentive, friendly, and made our stay memorable. The only suggestion I have is to add more variety to the breakfast menu, as it could use a bit more diversity. Overall, a great place to stay, and I’d happily recommend it!
Hotel is good. Do not pay $25 for the breakfast though. Coffee machine in the breakfast area makes watery coffee, not drinkable, they only have a wood swizzle stick for coffee spoons, amazingly poor for a so called restaurant. Watery eggs sitting is warmers, oily bacon sitting in warmers, the buffet $25 breakfast just not up to scratch. Walk around the corner, there are 3 cafes nearby that make a proper breakfast for the same price cooked to order. But for accommodation the hotel is a good 4 star hotel. My 3rd floor room has no view at all, just a concrete wall which seems to be a car park. So specify you want daylight view at least. If you here for business I suggest something a bit closer to the shops etc.
The rooms are comfortable and the venue is in close proximity to the town. It's not fancy or pretentious, but the Four Points has put together a straightforward and satisfying breakfast experience. The food is fresh and excellent quality, the process for ordering eggs is simple and well-managed, and the setup meant very little standing in lines even during a busy holiday season. Most of all, the staff were proactive and attentive (James was great and always cheerful and on point). Empty dishes never remained on tables, nor were they removed prematurely. The manager (Treshan) appears to be very dedicated to his job, is kind to his staff and makes a better latte than the baristas at the nearby 4.8 star reviewed cafe. The only drawback was the parking. Valet and nearby parking may be at a premium, but seems quite overpriced and left us wasting time trying to find alternatives.
Disappointing Family Room Policy When we first booked the Family Room (1 King bed and 2 Twin beds), we thought the $100 surcharge for a 4th person seemed reasonable—after all, it’s a family room, and we assumed the pricing reflected that. However, we were shocked to learn that even with 1 adult and 2 children (a total of 3 people), we were still charged an additional $50 per night. When i called to cancel the 4th person, the person on the phone confirmed the base price only $427.00, however the surcharge was shown in the updated booking confirmation $477.00 (This price was booked last year for April this year). The whole concept of a “Family Room” becomes meaningless if it’s not priced for a typical family. Why offer a room with multiple beds if the base price only covers 2 people? It feels deceptive and frustrating to be charged extra for using the space as intended. The room itself looked fine, but the hidden charges and unclear pricing left us very disappointed. Families, take note and check the fine print before booking. We’ll be looking elsewhere for our future stays unless this policy changes. We cancelled our booking, as interconnecting hotel rooms with 2 bathrooms was only $20 more than the $477 in another 4 star hotel, which is more space and privacy.
