We caught the Ferry from Portarlington specifically to dine and stay at the Savoy. The Alexander Bar is wonderful with Bar Manager Gerard knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. The hotel is classy, very classy. Food is reasonably priced and great quality. Loved our room with spectacularly good water pressure in the shower.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the Savoy Hotel. We arrived very early and the staff were so accommodating in holding our bags - so we could begin shopping and return when our room was ready. The staff were so kind and thoughtful and even sent a little birthday cake and note up to our room for my daughter - she was so thrilled! Our room was spacious and comfortable and we both had a great sleep. Close proximity to all the shops, our dinner reservation at Crown and the station for our train home. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. Perfect

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the executive King room. Spacious, clean, comfortable bed & actually very quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant which was excellent. Based on that we decided to partake in the Buffet Breakfast. Big mistake & thus the reduction of 2 stars. It was an utter disgrace, the worst we have ever experienced. The staff would periodically check the hot offerings, but it was never replaced because no one was eating the garbage. Lifting the lid on the scrambled egg would have you dry retching. It was disgusting & inedible. The bacon had been sitting there for hours & the sausages were lukewarm at best. Seriously, youd be better walking down to maccas for a mcmuffin for 10% of the price. By all means consider staying but give breakfast a miss

A Timeless Gem in the Heart of Melbourne – The Savoy Hotel From the moment you step into The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins Street, you’re wrapped in a cocoon of elegance and warmth. The building itself is a masterpiece, heritage architecture meets modern sophistication, with soaring ceilings, art deco flourishes, and a lobby that whispers old-world charm while winking at contemporary luxury. The ambience is Impeccably curated. Whether you're sipping a quiet morning coffee or winding down after a day in the city, every corner feels like a hug in velvet. Soft lighting, plush textures, and a gentle hum of city life just beyond the doors it’s cosy without being cloistered, refined without being rigid.
