It's our first time to visit Currumbin eventhough we came at lunch time so we hadn't got the chance to see some of their scheduled programs, we still enjoyed. My family did had fun. We love the experience of riding the train seeing the whole currumbin area. We love the walk on their bushes seeing all the wildlife animals. Knowing that they are all well taken care of by the staff in this sanctuary. In all spaces they do have some refreshments that you can stay and buy which is pretty good when you have small kids. We definitely recommend this for everyone.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic and memorable attractions, and it’s easy to see why. From the moment you enter, you’re immersed in beautifully maintained grounds filled with native Australian wildlife, lush greenery, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The sanctuary offers an incredible opportunity to get up close with animals such as kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and a wide variety of birds. The daily shows and animal encounters are well organised, informative, and engaging for all ages, making the experience both educational and entertaining. It’s clear the staff genuinely care about the animals and take pride in conservation and rehabilitation work. One of the highlights is how spacious and natural the environment feels. Walking paths are easy to navigate, signage is clear, and there are plenty of shaded areas to take a break, which is especially appreciated on warmer Gold Coast days. Everything is kept exceptionally clean and well presented, adding to the overall enjoyment of the visit. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is perfect for families, tourists, and locals alike. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, it consistently delivers a high-quality experience that showcases Australia’s unique wildlife in a respectful and engaging way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Gold Coast — this is a must-see attraction that never disappoints.

Highly recommend visiting Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary if you're looking for an authentic Australian wildlife experience on the Gold Coast. The park is well maintained, with plenty of natural bushland that makes it feel more like a nature reserve than a zoo. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the animal encounters are fantastic, you can get up close to pet and feed kangaroos, koalas, colorful lorikeets, and many other native Australian animals. A great day out for families, and visitors wanting an authentic Australian wildlife experience.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast is a delightful wildlife experience that’s especially great for families and animal lovers. Spread over a beautiful, bushland setting, the sanctuary lets us get up close with iconic Australian animals like kangaroos, lorikeets and koalas in natural-feeling environments. The interactive experiences — feeding friendly birds, watching free-flight bird shows, and wandering through open habitats that feel more immersive than a typical zoo. Especially, the friendly staff and the sense of fun throughout the park. A standout attraction is the Koala Photo experience, where we have a professional photo taken with Koala, one of the adorable native animal — a memorable souvenir of our visit and add a extra magic to our trip. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Overall, Currumbin Sanctuary offers a charming and educational day out with wildlife, though some note that certain add-on experiences like the koala photo come at an extra cost

Great place to visit and it's not overly crowded. It's a big place so a tip is tou use the train within the park. Best draw card was the bird show, and if you want to feed the lorikeets, attend the park after a few rain days, as they will be hungry and looking for alternative food sources.
