I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years and to be quite honest when I first arrived here I was not that impressed, it’s rough around the edges to say the least. However, I’ve stayed multiple times and I’ve grown to love this hotel very much. The thing that makes this hotel special are the staff that work hard to ensure you have a good time, that’s all the staff, not just the front of house but the staff that clean the rooms and cook the food too. We usually stay in a club room as we enjoy the afternoon tea and cocktail hour. It also gives us the chance to meet the staff we’ve met before. Special mention to Roxy, Cedric and Xandra. Thank you! The pools are huge, the rooms are a bit dated but nice. If you’re lucky Kangaroos might hop past while you’re sipping your Pina Colada! Stay in the week and you’ll have it all to yourself. Don’t judge a book by its cover and you’ll have a super time! Cheers to my favourite hotel group IHG.

Our stay here was amazing, exceeding all expectations. From the rooms, facilities, staff, to food, all exceptional. The grounds are spotless and so beautiful. We had a spacious, spotless, well appointed room, and attention to detail was exceptional. All staff were friendly, helpful, and approachable. And the food, so delicious. The buffet breakfast was next level, in quality, variety, and service. Even at a busy time, amazing! Thank you so much for having us, looking after us, and sharing your piece of paradise. Spectacular.

Sanctuary Cove is a genuinely lovely spot and the Intercontinental sits right in the middle of it. The pool alone makes the trip worth it, and the service throughout was warm and attentive without being over the top. The rooms are comfortable but showing their age a bit. Nothing that ruins the stay, just the kind of thing you notice when everything else is polished. An update is overdue. Restaurants on site are good, and they need to be because options outside the resort are limited. Worth factoring that into your budget before you arrive. The kangaroos wandering through in the morning are a genuine highlight and I say that as someone who thought I was past being impressed by kangaroos.

Beautiful resort with many amenities, central to a great variety of restaurants and walking distance to the shopping village easily accessible. We recently held our friend’s baby shower at the resort while staying here ourselves, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The restaurant manager Veronica was so lovely, accommodating and genuinely made our party of 9 feel so welcome at Verandah Restaurant and Bar (within the resort). The food and drinks were beautifully presented and delicious, the venue was stunning, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for celebrating a memorable occasion. A heartfelt thank you to Veronica and the entire team for making our first time visiting Verandah Restaurant & Bar + Intercontinental Sanctuary Cover resort a wonderful experience. We are incredibly grateful and would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a small and intimate special event, while soaking up a cup full of zen 😊

Beautiful family stay at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort We had an amazing family stay here. The resort is stunning, with beautiful gardens and the lagoon pool being a huge hit with our son. It feels relaxed, spacious, and perfect for families wanting a proper break. The staff truly made our stay. Zandra in the Club Lounge was absolutely incredible with our son. So warm, patient, and genuinely caring. She made him feel so special and turned each visit into a highlight of our day. Gabrielle at lagoon bar makes the best chilli mango margaritas too! Zoe at The Fireplace was also fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, and made the experience feel easy and fun. The steaks at The Fireplace were outstanding. Easily some of the best we’ve had. Spacious rooms, a great breakfast, and a calm resort atmosphere made this a really memorable family holiday. We left feeling relaxed and very grateful. We can’t wait to return.
