I stayed here for four days, two of which were with my family. The air con did not work, which happens. So we contacted reception, they told me that they would check it. The attendant then told me they had checked it, and it was working. However no one set foot in the room to actually confirm that it was working. Being in the room, I can confirm the air conditioner did not work. It was weird that they told me the air conditioner was working, but never saw or felt the output. This meant the first night that I couldn’t sleep due to the heat. The second night, i called up again to ask them to fix the air conditioner. They told me they checked it, once again, not going into the room, but told me it was working. Another sleepless night due to the heat. The third morning I asked them to fix it, because my young child was coming up and it’s a bit of a worry. The receptionist told me that there was an issue with the air conditioner across the building, that they apologise, and were working on a fix and they would apply a discount upon our check out and appears to be good about the issue. The issues continued, however we were now on our last night. So we just thought we would push through, even after our kettle was leaking and burnt my partners hand. My partner raised this issue with the air conditioner again and they said they’ll send up housekeeping. On our check out after 4 sleepless nights, the attendant said they could see the complaints in the system, however a manager would be in touch that morning because they couldn’t provide compensation. They didn’t call, so I had to follow up with them to which they said they would not discount but I would not have to pay an additional charge for a sofa bed, which I was astounded by, considering that we already paid on arrival and the booking clearly indicated that we needed the sofa bed for our child. The service was beyond shambolic and I would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it. It was 30 degrees with a broken air conditioner and at no stage were we offered a move or any alternative.

Lovely hotel we stayed in a disabled friendly room so very spacious bathroom and bedroom. Bed and pillows very comfy overall a nice stay with Metro station only minutes away. Below the hotel there are many options for lunch although most closed at dinner time. Woolworths right next door the only thing I will say it is quite a bit out of the city centre but easily reached by train.

We had a very positive experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet. There were blockout curtains. The bed was superb, so comfortable. It's close to the trains and several grocery stores as well as a shopping plaza.There are lots of cafes and restaurants close by to choose from, all at very reasonable prices. It was only five minutes from North Sydney to Wynyard station. We went everywhere by train, tram and ferry. It was so easy.

We had a great stay at Vibe Hotel North Sydney! The room was nice and spacious – it didn’t feel cramped at all. The location is super convenient, close to the train station and plenty of food options. The service was excellent too – when our little one wet the bed, they brought up fresh sheets right away with no fuss. Really appreciated how quick and helpful the staff were. We’d definitely stay here again!

I’m currently staying here, and so far it’s been pretty shite. Reception staff was rude, when there was no note about a $100 physical card payment when staying? I just paid $1100, why would I need to deposit that much? Just charge $1 or something for the details! Even then, I didn’t have a physical card. He was quite rude after I SHOWED him there was nothing saying that on our booking. Then we got here and the TV doesn’t work. So no in-house entertainment. Disappointing after a 30+ heat day, and wondering around north Sydney. Also, swimming pool ladder is broken & looks disgusting, give it a wipe! And this isn’t really a bad one, but what’s going on with the Bathroom lighting? I can’t see my own body on the darkness! I’ll update this before I leave.
