This hotel has lots to improve 1. House keeping came with wrong order (asked for razor at 1pm but came with shaving cream WITHOUT razor after 30 mins and you can't reach them from 2pm to 6pm) 2. Breakfast restaurant staff insist my room had consumed breakfast when it's not true. The gentlemen was frowning and frustrated why my room card only reflects 1 person which is not within my control (we had 2 club rooms meant for 4 and only 3 pax staying). No greetings and only frustration and grumbling from the restaurant staff. Bad way to start my morning However I'm giving it 5 stars as I'm fortunate enough to meet 2 person who helped and assisted me from check in to check out with a big genuine smile 1. Nicky (or Nicki) - you can see her everywhere at the lobby. She promptly assisted me with my luggages, shared information about where I can park my car and how the hotel can assist with parking while checking in and transportation to airport. I saw her at check in, she greeted us when we came back at the main door with a smile and also send us off the next day with a big smile 2. Ryker - he was so meticulous during the check in process, sharing all details about the hotel facilities and amenities and trying his best to get my room request. Upon check out, he's busy helping to weigh our luggages multiple times with very precise record of each luggage weight, while checking us out. We were grateful we got Ryker in the queue for both check in and check out and his great assistance and professionalism. Big thanks to Ryker and Nicky for making our stay in Auckland lovely.

Absolutely incredible stay! My partner and I came for our anniversary and the room was set up beautifully, with a dessert waiting for us and a congratulatory note. The staff were super helpful and the service was amazing. The spa and heated rooftop pool were awesome but the thing that stood out the most was how far the hotel went to make us feel special and important. Definitely worth the price!

Cordis is an amazing place to stay , as always. friendly staff , knowledgeable , ready to help and just feel genuine , even on phone service amazing. Love how they introduce the call with "Kia ora" . Valet staff amazing , Concierge's amazing , shuttle driver amazing , guest relations amazing (Bella) , front desk staff amazing , spa staff amazing everyone we interacted with was so amazing. We used the pool facilities loved how there is adult hours we had our son with us so we didn't use adult hours but I think that is so beneficial , breakfast buffet delicious as always no faults , staff there also amazing. Room upgrade was recieved with so much gratitude thank you and with the sky tower view so beautiful , perfect room really for our family staycation celebrating us. We also participated in school holiday scavenger hunt activity with our son and LOVED IT thank you Bella. Overall highly recommend for families , individuals , groups and everyone.

Stayed with 7 year old grandson for two nights. Clean, comfortable, lovely extra touches. Both enjoyed the art work around the hotel and the pool and spa. The staff were excellent from the front desk to the concierge, to the staff at Eight Restaurant. The staff were proactive in managing a family group of children at the pool and the sudden jam up of cars at check in time. The Super Shuttle Driver commented that the staff at the Cordis were always good from his point of view when he was picking up and dropping off passengers.There has been plenty written about the buffet breakfast...marvellous and the staff were great and so nice. Thanks to the man in charge this Friday and Saturday morning and if you can pass it on...yes we did get to the zoo. . ( Tip....pass on to front desk that you can only use one credit card per person on the Auckland buses. I couldn't pay using my card for myself AND grandson to go to Kelly Tarltons..the driver was pedantic about this). Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Our family has been coming to Cordis, Auckland for years, and every visit has been exceptional. It truly is one of the best hotels in Auckland. We’re returning again to celebrate my partner’s and nephew’s birthdays, and the experience has already been outstanding. The Manager on Duty, Sarah Sapo, has been amazing — her communication and customer service skills are second to none. She has already made my family and me feel incredibly welcome even before our stay. Sarah is a top-class manager and a real asset to Cordis. We can’t wait for another memorable stay.

The Great Room
Host a banquet for up to 800 guests in one of the largest pillarless ballrooms in Auckland. The Great Room is styled with 33 showstopping crystal chandeliers, creating a lavish setting for gala dinners and celebrations. It can be transformed into four separate spaces ranging from 200 to 1160 square meters.
Crystal Room
The Crystal Room offers a bright and elegant venue for banquets with 200 guests, or a theatre-style conference for 300 guests. There is a private foyer for pre-event cocktails, a stage for performances, and an area that can be used as a dance floor. Divide the room into two separate spaces, perfect as breakout rooms adjacent to the Great Room.
Jade Room
The Jade Room is one of our most versatile venues and can seat up to 294 guests. It opens onto an adjacent outdoor terrace, creating the perfect setting for al fresco dining or pre-event cocktails. It can also be transformed into separate, smaller rooms if required.
