Overall the venue is quite impressive with the interior and waitress staff. We had the whole chicken which tasted great but priced on high side. My bf had gin tonic and I had grapefruit soda. We had such chill and romantic dinner together.

Great ambience and food options. This place is cool we stopped by here after checking out Christmas in July festivities. Good variety of Gin options and cocktails. They have other beverages if you are not a gin drinker. Everyone is so friendly and service is top notch. Definitely recommend this.

An awesome find. Visiting from QLD and when looking around Circular Quay all the venues were really busy. I found this place which sounded good, and for a slightly out of the spotlight location, it turned out to be absolutely amazing. Love the ambience in the venue, and the cocktails were top quality. Also bought a few bottles of the gin. Loved the tasting flight. The staff were also friendly and let us shift around some of the outdoor tables to suit us better. Will definitely go back here.

Superb food and memorable experience at Hickson House Distilling Co. Had an unforgettable dining experience at Hickson House Distilling Co. The location is a bit tucked away and harder to get to, but well worth the effort. The food was superb — we enjoyed the fried cauliflower, which was delicious and unique, along with rosemary and garlic focaccia, lamb cutlet, cheeseburger, and gnocchi with their signature Hickson House crazy water. Every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully prepared. The setting was stunning — a bit avant-garde with an opulent, sophisticated vibe, reminiscent of the Atlas Bar in Singapore. The ambience made the whole experience feel special and elevated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, craft spirits, and a memorable atmosphere.

Tucked away in the heart of Sydney's Rocks district, the High & Dry Bar at Hickson House was the perfect location for a Gatsby themed milestone birthday celebration. With it's art deco styling, this intimate upper bar area gave off a speakeasy vibe and as all my friends dressed up, it was like stepping back in time to the glitz and glamour of the roaring 20's. The cocktails were amazing and the food was delicious (with just enough room to squeeze 27 in for a sit-down meal). The staff were friendly, helpful and helped to make a truly memorable and fabulous evening. We'll be back for the tour of the gin distillery next time....
