Set in the soaring brickwork and girders of the former Saatchi & Saatchi garage, scene of many infamous warehouse parties; now houses new creative spirits in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and just a stone’s throw from the harbour. Hickson House is the home of our craft spirits distillery, set in the historic Metcalfe Bond Stores, The Rocks. Our multiple spaces offers a unique experience featuring an 8-meter high back bar, imported European furniture, and elegant chandeliers, and a distillery backdrop creating an intimate and bespoke atmosphere for your guests. Outdoor Al Fresco or private bar at Mezzanine level. Whether you're hosting a relaxed Breakfast/lunch/dinner, cocktail event or a more celebratory event, multiple spaces allows us to tailor the service to your needs and ensure a personalized experience throughout. Great ambience and food options. This place is cool we stopped by here after checking out Christmas in July festivities. Good variety of Gin options and cocktails. They have other beverages if you are not a gin drinker. Everyone is so friendly and service is top notch. Definitely recommend this.

An awesome find. Visiting from QLD and when looking around Circular Quay all the venues were really busy. I found this place which sounded good, and for a slightly out of the spotlight location, it turned out to be absolutely amazing. Love the ambience in the venue, and the cocktails were top quality. Also bought a few bottles of the gin. Loved the tasting flight. The staff were also friendly and let us shift around some of the outdoor tables to suit us better. Will definitely go back here.

Overall the venue is quite impressive with the interior and waitress staff. We had the whole chicken which tasted great but priced on high side. My bf had gin tonic and I had grapefruit soda. We had such chill and romantic dinner together.

Superb food and memorable experience at Hickson House Distilling Co. Had an unforgettable dining experience at Hickson House Distilling Co. The location is a bit tucked away and harder to get to, but well worth the effort. The food was superb — we enjoyed the fried cauliflower, which was delicious and unique, along with rosemary and garlic focaccia, lamb cutlet, cheeseburger, and gnocchi with their signature Hickson House crazy water. Every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully prepared. The setting was stunning — a bit avant-garde with an opulent, sophisticated vibe, reminiscent of the Atlas Bar in Singapore. The ambience made the whole experience feel special and elevated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, craft spirits, and a memorable atmosphere.
