Great location only minutes from Central station and light rail across the road. Rooms are compact but clean and functional. The $15 breakfast is well worth trying and the adjacent bar serves good food and drinks at pub prices. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. This is my second stay and will be my regular base when travelling through Sydney.

Unexpectedly great, room comfortable. Found the balcony a bit odd, 10 foot walls and the only thing you could see was the taller buildings around us. Dining room food, however had to order on the extremely noisy adjacent bar, however quality of food was great.

My room was unserviced which was fine as I was only there for 3 nights. The room was basic but it did the job well. Location is great and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast for $15 on my final morning was pretty good too. The only downside was there were some drain flies in the shower but other than that the stay was quite good.

This place is pretty good. The rooms have decent facilities. Toilets were good. Beds were good. Nice storage space. Nice air con and peace and quiet all around. Staff are helpful too. I can't really fault anything. The bar downstairs was also good. Pretty good in all fields.

The location is EXCELLENT, both in terms of getting to and from the airport and for getting around Sydney easily. The service was great, especially from the Asian-Aussie man at the front desk. The room wasn't properly cleaned as there were hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor plus there were also toilet stains, but considering that I got to check in two hours early free of charge I think that's a decent tradeoff. There is a complimentary safe where you can store your passport and home keys. The hotel door can also be triple locked, which provides much peace of mind as a solo female traveller. I took one star off as the shower is outdated and fiddly; there are two taps instead of one, so it takes a bit of time to find a comfortable temperature. I do understand that they are doing upgrades though so it could be different when you stay (or I next stay!)
