Fantastic service and atmosphere! Had our family Christmas here and it was an easy breezy process with little to no stress on my end. Menu is easy to choose from. The Mattara works to your needs and is flexible with options. Good value for money. Food was good, no complaints.

Thank you to the Mattara Hotel Charlestown! We had our reception at the Mattara Hotel, and I can’t thank the team enough for making everything such a breeze. The food was absolutely amazing—guests were raving about it all night long! The staff were friendly, professional, and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day. We go most weekends, so the Mattara holds a special place in our hearts. The food is consistently delicious, full of zing, and reasonably priced. Whether it’s a reception or a casual dinner, it’s always a fantastic experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate. Highly recommend to anyone planning a wedding, event, or simply looking for a great meal! 🤍

Friendly and welcoming staff, great with kids, easy for young families. Ordered steak rare and it was overcooked and tough. Other meals were big sizes 👌. Everyone happy overall. Big fish tank and playground a hit with the kids. Will be back soon.

Great atmosphere, good food, affordable prices. The bar and restaurant was clean and tidy and everyone was kind and upbeat with Christmas spirit. Sam was so efficient with accomodations for our Christmas get together, and was easy to talk to behind the bar. Jordy makes an amazing Christmas Spice cocktail and Hannah gave absolutely great service through the dinner service and was wonderful with the raffle drawer. Even though I didn't score a meat tray in the raffle, we all had a wonderful time.
