Just WOW. So pleasantly surprised by this place. Great place to stay in the northern beaches. The pub food is delicious, very well priced and you get 10% and 2 free drinks for staying at the hotel. The beach is literally in front and it’s a lovely and quiet one. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. And one of the best things is they provide free parking!

small number of 1st world issues. You get 1 free drink at bar - house beer - what is house beer? never heard of it. We were told about this by checking staff which is good. Bar staff said the voucher basically amounts to anything less than $10 a glass. Then why doesn't voucher say this? Sounds like typical corporate planned vagueness so they can allow or disallow any drink they like. Customer-focussed means not placing friction like this between the customer and the service they are looking for. Voucher should just say "less than $10". You get 10% off any food or drink you order with a "*" fine print saying only applies to some hotels. Giving the customer a job to have to ask if it applies to this hotel is more unwelcome corporate friction and not customer-focussed. I don't think we were told about this at checkin - I was just idly reading checkin card after our 1st meal ordered in the bar and discovered it. Staff should be more proactive in informing customers. These are small 1st world issues but things you gotta get right for 5 stars. Location is near the ocean but that is not patrolled and I would not swim there. About 10 mins walk North to nearest patrolled beach.

I can't wait to come back for my next getaway to The Sands hotel Narrabeen! I enjoyed my time so much that I was booked for two nights and stayed for five. Anita on reception was an absolute pleasure to deal with and an absolute delight to wake up to that beautiful smile and was there to help for everything I needed during my stay. In fact all of the staff including management were awesome and easy to talk to and nothing was ever a problem for my needs during my visit I will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later thanks again team legends!!!
