Reviews for Narrabeen Sands Hotel

Stayed for 1 night in a very spacious and comfy studio suite. Is in a great location close to the beach. Has a convenient bistro and bar attached with free underground parking. The food there was good and reasonably priced including room service. We also enjoyed a complimentary drink which was served with a smile. Thank you everyone at the sands for making our stay so pleasant.

We’ve booked a queen-size room for one night, just about $200. It’s 24 hours access, and free underground parking available. Close to petrol station and 711 convenience grocery. Nice location. The reception is quite nicely! Here is much above than our expectations! Strongly recommend

Great location, convenient to the beach as well as public transport and Narrabeen shops and restaurants. Room was clean, well maintained, and large. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We did not have an ocean view room, and that may have worked out well because those are over the outdoor bar area.

I've been here a few times now for dinner. It's close to the worst food I have ever eaten, but the most I've paid for a pub meal. Considering people stay here, you'd want the food to complement the accommodation. If you can't cook Satay chicken skewers and rice without drying out the chicken, at least provide enough sauce to cover the taste and moisten the meat. Cook at home instead. You can't stuff it up as much as their paid chef did.

Had lunch here on Tuesday ,so very disappointed. The schnitzel was Burnt crumbs and still pink on inside and a very strong smell of five spice , the mushroom sauce extra $3.00 was in the smallest ramekin with one slice of mushroom , and Saad dry white slaw with a dob of aioli on it 😭😥 The Bangers & mash was so uneditable just boiled pork hardly a char mark on them . Not surprised as the place was empty on a beautiful day. I feel the Chefs are need to pickup the standards or perhaps go back to Tafe and learn some basic skills . As the Bar staff and Hotel staff are amazing .
