We stayed Thursday through to Monday while we visited a friend. The hotel couldn’t have been better. The warm welcome and smiles at reception which happened each time we came out of the lift or entered the front door were always genuine. The location is superb. We had a coastal view room and they are large and airy. The bistro was convenient for dining and the coffee is excellent. All the staff are friendly and professional. I’ll definitely stay again when I visit Narrabeen.

Stayed for 1 night in a very spacious and comfy studio suite. Is in a great location close to the beach. Has a convenient bistro and bar attached with free underground parking. The food there was good and reasonably priced including room service. We also enjoyed a complimentary drink which was served with a smile. Thank you everyone at the sands for making our stay so pleasant.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family for one night and, while the facilities themselves were lovely, I was very disappointed with the quality of service we received from Andrew, who appeared to be handling administrative check-ins, and hotel guests. From the outset, his manner was unwelcoming and unnecessarily curt, over the phone and in person. Despite this being a hospitality role, he did not smile or extend even the most basic courtesies upon our arrival. Unfortunately, this attitude was not only directed toward me, but also toward other members of my family. Having stayed at many hotels over the years, I can confidently say that this level of service is well below the standard of professionalism one should expect. Hospitality is about more than simply processing a check-in — it is about creating a welcoming environment, especially for guests who may have travelled long distances. I feel this is an area the hotel seriously needs to address, as it impacted our overall impression of the stay.

Definitely not kid friendly, terrible management. Sent number of emails with no reply. Cancelled my reservation with no explanation. Disappointing because the rooms are nice and are in a great location, the receptionist on the front desk was lovely but the way management treat their guests is unacceptable, no loyalty to valued, paying guests, very disappointing experience. Foods not even that great, don’t waste your money, stay else where.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and have always been blown away by their customer service each time. The team go above and beyond and the rooms are greatly looked after. I’ve stayed across Ocean and Studio and find they are all spacious and have their own benefits. I’m looking forward to my next stay here - thank you.
