A very good Four Star hotel in a convenient location in King Street, Newcastle. Well soundproofed from street noise and in corridors. A well designed lobby and Reception, with a breakfast area which includes a comprehensive continental and hot breakfast options which is free for hotel guests. Convenient on-site parking for a charge using a credit card, through a QR code at Reception. Birdwood Park is located at the front of the hotel, providing views of the trees from lower floors, and great cityscape views from higher floors, to the ocean and hills. Highly recommended.

There was a bit of confusion with our company's booking process but was quickly resolved by the staff when I checked in. The room was clean with all the necessary consumables. Though, I wish they have an extra blanket available just in for cooler weather but cannot/do not want to use the air-con as heater. The included buffet-style breakfast has good choices of food. Though, would be nice to have different options the pastries on alternative days would be good. Having the same pastries for 5 consecutive days could get a bit boring. The most uncomfortable experience, to put in lightly, was the lunch/dinner food ordering has to go through scanning the QR code. Despite being a tech person, I feel uncomfortable order through a real-person. So, I had to take a short walk to surrounding restaurants each night for my week-long stay. The small gym with towels provided is a big plus. The self-service laundry is a great option for those on long-stay or family. $2 per was is a bargain.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was comfortable, the spaces were clean and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel has a very good location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The parking is 20$ per day for guests, it is okay since parking outside can be mire expensive. The place is suitable for a short stay, business or a getaway in Newcastle. We really enjoyed, special thanks to David for his service!

I stayed at this hotel for the first time and appreciated the clean room. The $20 per night parking fee was unexpected. I was pleased to discover the small gym, which was great for a quick workout. The breakfast had a good variety, with eggs and bacon being my favorites. The friendly kitchen staff made the experience even better.I look forward to returning and would be delighted to hear about any loyalty programs or special offers for returning guests.

We had a single night stay booked mid July. Upon arrival we confirmed that parking was included in our stay, otherwise $20 overnight in the associated parking station. We registered our car details with check-in staff. We had a nice, clean room, a lovely breakfast but when attempting to exit the parking station after checking out we were required to pay $40 for the single night parking. We informed reception, requested a refund, left our banking details. Four phone calls and one email later, we still have not received a refund. Spoilt an otherwise nice stay. We would have been better off parking on the street.
